Poor Packaging

Bought a Jellcat Soother for a new baby gift, and paid 4.99 for 24 tracked. This review is the simple not great packaging sent through the postal system. This soft toy was sent in a very thin plastic envelope and as you guessed was punctured in two places the bag was sized approx 8x5 inches the soft toy must have been squished inside with little thought of the consequences. When opened today it was rather a letdown it was miss shaped the labels were dog-eared and creased quite sad to see only because of the unsuitable packaging. Will not purchase from them again.

Good Value

We’ve ordered two replacement Wrendale pieces from Temptation Gifts as they’ve been the cheapest option by far including Wrendale and Amazon, even with postage costs. Items have been exact in terms of quality, so all in all, very happy with service, website, price and delivery. Thank you.

Sharp practice with online trading

When purchasing 2 china mugs I was unaware that in addition to a delivery charge I was expected to pay 21€ of customs charges from FedEx.( UK-IRELAND) ( This was nearly more than the cost of the mugs) I told them I no longer wanted the mugs but they still appeared on my door step. Fed Ex then hired a collections agency to threaten me . Never never again!!! Buyer beware. In response Temptation gifts ...you have an email from me saying I no longer wanted the items as I did not want to pay customs charges. However they were left on my door step and not signed for! This was then followed by threatening letters from FedEx ( whom you hired to deliver) you cannot abdicate responsibility from this situation. Again Sharp Practices.

Great Quality Products at Great Prices

I was a little skeptical when I saw the prices of things and some of the reviews but I have ordered from them three times now and have never been disappointed or had any issues. Official branded merchandise such as Kate Spade, Ted Baker and Jellycat at a fraction of the price. Dispatch to the UK was quick and efficient. Great quality products at great prices.

What a sham of a company

What a sham of a company, I ordered a tealight house from them on the 19th Jan, priced at £23 18p which included postage, today I received an email from customs saying I owe them 23 euros, to say I was shocked was an understatement, I have been buying from the UK for years and I have never been charged tax before, on ringing customs to find out what happened we were told the package did not have a customs label attached so they guessed a price of 76 euros and charged me tax on that, after contacting the company they told me that they send out parcels for ireland normal post without a customs label, how ridiculous can you get!!!!!!!!!! They offered to take the house back but I would have to pay postage and also lose the postage to have it delivered to my home, I will Never buy from this company again, thank you temptation gifts for your brilliant service and for ripping a pensioner off, I hope it makes you proud! May I just add that we do not have to pay customs tax on any item under 135 pounds, if they had taken the time to fill in a declaration form stating the cost of the item then it would have been delivered to me free of any custom charges, Every other company I have bought from does this as a normal thing, What a way to run a business, If anyone from Ireland is reading this you have been warned!!!!!!!!!

A superb company

I really can’t recommend Temptation Gifts highly enough. I have done two Christmas orders with them….both faultless. Beautifully packaged. The second one a present which arrived in less than 24 hours with the recipient. Ordered on 22 Dec and delivered on 23 Dec! A superb on-line shopping experience and thank you to all the staff who make this happen. A real favourite on-line store and one I shall return to again and again.
