Great program!

I had a wonderful experience working with Allan through his 12-week fitness program. Before joining Allan’s program, I felt like I had plateaued and was struggling to figure out what direction to go to progress my health and fitness goals. Allan worked with me to figure out a fitness regimen that worked with the equipment I had available at home and on the road (because I travel frequently) as well as workouts I could do when I had access to a gym. He was very knowledgeable of how approaches to fitness and nutrition need to change as we age. And his workouts allowed me to clearly see my strength increase which was incredibly motivating! He also helped me work on my mindset towards fitness, nutrition, sleep, and stress – lots of small, steady changes as I figured things out and identified my own motivations and obstacles. With daily texted check ins from Allan, I was motivated to work on making those small changes each day. This led to new thought processes, habits, and patterns that make staying healthy more automatic which is a game changer for me. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to make long lasting changes.

Found sustainable eating habit that worked for me!

I was really struggling to find a diet plan that was sustainable long-term. I was able to lose some weight through exercise, but I would always gain it back, especially when I got injured. Even though I ate pretty healthy, I wasn't able to get down to my ideal weight. To make matters worse, I developed high blood pressure for the first time in my life after I turned 40. No matter how hard I tried to outwork my diet by exercising more, I couldn't seem to lower my blood pressure or lose the stubborn weight. I knew I needed help, so I decided to hire Coach Allan after reading rave reviews about his approach. What drew me to Coach Allan was his focus on lifelong habits, not quick fixes. During our time together, he helped me unlearn dysfunctional eating habits and find proper portions for my body. I also learned effective strategies from Coach Allan for getting back on track after slip-ups without shame or anger. In one month, I lost 10-15 pounds following the nutrition plan Coach Allan tailored for me. I brought my blood pressure back to normal. But the real test came when an injury kept me from my workout routine for months. Thanks to the habits from Coach Allan, I maintained my weight loss through diet alone while barely exercising. I can't thank Coach Allan enough for giving me the tools to transform my lifestyle. I would absolutely hire him again if I ever need help getting back on track. The insights about portions and bouncing back from detours were invaluable. I highly recommend Coach Allan for anyone over 40 seeking lasting health and fitness improvements.

Great support and success from working with Coach Allan

I have been following Coach Allan for years. I have listened to his podcast and also watched his posts on Facebook. I knew that I wanted to make some changes and to lose weight, and I knew that I needed to create some new accountability. So I reached out to Coach Allan and signed up for a great 12 week program. I really enjoyed the experience with Coach Allan - he gave me a great program to follow and I also really appreciated the weekly video chats and also the daily check in via text. He was great at giving supportive advice and he helped me to be a success. I definitely achieved success in working with Coach Allan and I was able to lose 25 pounds over the 12 week program. I have kept it off and I also plan on continuing to work with Coach Allan to help to keep me on track. I'll be signing up for his Legacy Plus program in the near future.

Coach Allan helped me and can help you too!!

Coach Allan helped me with my weigh loss goals and over 12 weeks, I lost 22 lbs! I really like that he asked me to write down my why goals and why I wanted to lose weight at the beginning of the 12-week session. His check-ins helped keep me accountable and the programs were tailored to my goals. I have recommended Coach Allan to my friends and I would recommend him without reservation.

First Rate Coaching

I learned of Allan Misner when I bought his book "The Wellness Roadmap". When I had changes I needed to make with my lifestyle I knew to call Allan. He was ever present, helping to guide, teach, motivate and inspire me. Allan was available outside of our weekly meetings whenever I needed questions answered or wanted more resources. He had a good understanding of my weaker aging body (I'm a 61 yr old woman) and didn't suggest impractical exercises that would likely cause injury rather than build strength. We had a graduated approach and he has left me with good tools to take forward as I continue with new health goals. I am thrilled with my results which include: 12 pounds lost; significantly improved balance, core strength and stamina; my blood sugars are in balance; I'm eating so much better and I feel great! If in the future I feel I need a coach again, I won't hesitate to call Allan. I am well on my way to my best healthy and fit self thanks to Allan.

I would highly recommend Allan Misner as a personal fitness and nutrition coach.

I have been listening to the 40+ fitness podcast for quite awhile. I have always enjoyed learning about the different aspects of health and fitness. When Allan offered a 12 week fitness program I decided to give it a shot. Allan provided nutritional guidance, a tailored fitness program, almost daily text check ins and a weekly zoom meeting. The personal guidance got me out of a sedentary slump that I found myself in. I am enjoying my new focus on diet and nutrition and have lost weight. I am also feeling stronger and others can see the results. I would recommend Allan for anyone in need of coaching and support. I have finished my 12 weeks and would certainly work with Allan again.

More than I could have hoped for!

I have really enjoyed working with Allan. He is an excellent coach. He is very knowledgeable and is always sharing that knowledge with me whenever I ask any questions. I trust him to give me the best advice and do the best for my body. My strength has improved significantly, I am happier with a much better state of mind, my sleep quality has improved drastically and I have far more energy on a daily basis than I ever did before. Allan was recommended to me by a friend, I am very happy and am looking forward to working with Allan in the foreseeable future. I highly recommend his services.
