Potters Cookshop lies
Potters Cookshop lies, manipulates and deceives people in order to financially exploit the public! I placed an order online and wanted to return one of the items that I ordered, and therefore according to the Consumers Right Regulations I was legally entitled to receive a full refund of the item that I wanted to return! I have proof (copy of their emails) stating that they will not be willing to refund me the money that I was legally entitled to! But in their reply to my TrustPilot review they claim that they were willing to pay me my refund! If they were willing to pay me my refund they would of done it already! I read a few Google reviews about this company, and all the negative reviews that I read about this company were all to do with people feeling that they have been unfairly treated and financially exploited by this company regarding their refunds. In my case: this company refused to refund me the money that I was legally entitled to receive, and they also suggested that I would place the item that I wanted to return in the bin as the cost of the collection was going to be bigger than the cost of the item! Financial abuse/exploitation is a form of emotional/mental abuse! And by refusing to pay a refund in FULL to the public (regarding an online purchase) they are breaking the Consumers Right Regulations! If you have been a victim of financial exploitation with this company, The Consumers Citizens advice bureau can report this company to Trading standards and you can ask to remain anonymous if you wish. You can also contact the Ombudsman Services. As you can read in their reply to my Trustpilot review, this company continues to find excuses not to pay my refund in full!! This company manipulates the public in order to make the refund process extremely difficult by refusing to refund us the money or they will attempt to keep part of your refund in their pockets or will try to convince you that the cost of the collection is bigger than the cost of the item that you intend to return or any other excuses! By law, they can not charge the public for a collection! And by law, they can not deduct any money from a refund! If the order was placed online, The public is entitled to receive a full refund. Their reply to my Trustpilot review is full of contradictions and in parts of it they are not telling the truth: they are trying to make it sound as if they were always willing to refund me the money, when this is not true! If they were willing to refund me the money in full I would not be here posting this review! On the 18th of February 2025 at 8.20 GMT Potters Cookshop sent me an email stating that they will not be refunding me the cost of the item.
