Quick, easy and good coverage

This is the 2nd time using World Nomads for my travel. It is easy to use, and offers a complete package for a reasonable cost. I sent an email with an inquiry, and was impressed that within minutes, I received a response. I have not needed to use the insurance thus far, however, I am confident that if I should ever need to use it, that I would have a hassle-free time with getting the service(s) required.

Representative did not know the answers to my questions about policy exclusions/inclusions, was speculating based on the same thing I was reading. No additional insight. Unhelpful customer service

It's very easy to purchase trip protection, but impossible to file a claim when you need them. Apparently, you can't file a claim from the company website but need a special link to travelclaimsonline.com and a special claim number that is not included with your policy number at time of payment. Then you need to file by mail despite it being 2025 and having most everything done online (including taxes). Seems like the group doesn't want you to be able to access assistance.

We took out a policy to cover myself and our kids as we had received no confirmation if the insurance provided by my partner's employer covered us and we needed it to get them into school abroad. The next morning the employer confirmed that we were covered and therefore didn't need a separate policy. As we were already abroad there was no calling off period but we spoke to Nicole in customer services on the phone and she was amazing in allowing us to put forward our circumstances for consideration to the underwriters, who agreed that a refund was possible in this case. Really grateful for the care and attention, and to have those funds now available for our time abroad!

Wasn't sure about my situation. Still unclear if I'm covered. Submitted a question and it was never responded too. I am an expat living in Vietnam but going to Japan for 5 days. Didn't know if I was eligible for cover.
