Easy to use. Good value for the price

World Nomads is so easy to use - just give them basic info like start and end dates, where traveling to, names and ages of travelers and presto, a policy! And I have had to cut a trip short due to death and I was reimbursed quickly and without fuss.

While I haven't had to use my policy, the set-up and aquasition of the policy was straightforward and quick.

Great company, horrible website

I was in Costa Rica in the ER submitting a claim, but they couldn't find my policy because World Nomads did not attach the policy nor create my account when I purchased the travel insurance, so the ER staff did not find my travel insurance and, this also increased more time delay in medical attention.

They do a good job

I tried to call back and add 3 days to my trip to cover travel and option 5 says that it has to be done in writing and I emailed my request and didn’t hear back. I then called on 3 separate days trying to take care of it over the phone and I was told that couldn’t be done. I still haven’t received an email back to add the dates I requested.

Getting the coverage was pretty straightforward, and the price was reasonable. I liked having 3 levels of coverage/cost to choose from. A few of the drop-down menus didn’t work great on my iPad tho.

We've used World Nomads numerous times and have always had great service. When anyone in our family has had to make a claim they've been super helpful in guiding us through the process. We've been so thankful for the trust afforded to us as customers; we've never had to fight or argue with them.
