A much valued and trusted source of support
Teresa arrived to clean for my parents when my mum was in the grip of dementia and has continued to support my dad since her death. Teresa is a trusted and much valued source of support for my dad and I feel secure in the knowledge that she’s there when I cannot be.
Excellent support
We have found the helper from GLS to be excellent, and are very happy with her and the support she provides.
Good Life Sorted Inadequate and Clandestine
You will will not find Good Life Sorted in the Companies House register. I like to know who I am dealing with and give access to my home. When asked, they were very secretive and evasive as to what enterprise they are, and who are the significant persons running the company. Light domestic cleaning is one of the services they advertise. With the onset of rheumatoid arthritis, this is exactly the service I need. The assistant informed me that they are not an agency but they arrange for helpers’ insurance and DBS check, and take 20% of the self-employed helpers’ earnings. They have offered me a lady who, according to her profile, “acts as companion for walks, board games and enjoys conversations about the past” - and charges £17.00 per hour. The payment for service is to be by direct debit, but I was unable to ascertain who the payee is - a freelance helper or Good Life Sorted? I am a semi-retired professional with family, social life, voluntary work and Bruce, the Shetland Sheepdog, who is a perfect companion for our daily walks. I explained that I need practical help, i.e. light domestic cleaning, but I will be reluctant to pay £17.00 per hour for what is essentially an unskilled work. I also stated that I expect the helper to arrive for an initial meeting with proof of identity, valid certificate of insurance and her current DBS certificate. I received a very offhand answer, and was advised to contact a cleaning agency. In my opinion, this organisation is not trustworthy, and targets vulnerable elderly people telling them how their “good life” should be “sorted” - on Good Life Sorted terms. RESPONSE to the director of Good Life Sorted My statement is factually correct and a faithful account of my communications with staff member and her colleague. They were unable to answer my question about the registered company - invisible on Good Life Sorted sleek website. The director was not a party to this communication and her unfounded allegation of falshood in my statement cannot be upheld. FINAL RESPONSE TO the Director The director of Good Life Sorted moves in devious and mysterious ways. She invited me to a telephone conversation to apologise. She did not say that she intends to use this conversation on TrustPilot platform in order to publish a PR/marketing communication for her business. Moreover, the director cites me incorrectly, and her her citation is unauthorised. Our telephone conversation did not set my mind at rest on anything in this matter - as she claims. To my amusement she places Good Life Sorted in the same league as Facebook and Google. Very aspirational, but the big difference is that Facebook and Google do not target vulnerable, elderly people and give their helpers access to vulnerable persons’ homes and private lives. Transparency (evidently lacking) is therefore paramount. I shall not delete or amend my original review. I simply shared truthfully my experience with Good Life Sorted.
Excellent service
Excellent service, very professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. My elderly mother now has a regular visit to help her with a few domestic chores and to accompany her on a short walk if she chooses to go out, or simply to chat over a cup of tea.
Fantastic service
This was a great service for my Dad until he needed full time care.

I’ve been a helper for GLS now since December 2022. I have 6 clients that I visit between 1-2 hours several times a week.. Just being back in my community with these amazing people that need a little help has been life changing. We support all families that reach out when their grandparents/ parents / siblings need additional help to keep them independently living.
