Booked for a work do from hants to London for the evening. Coach journey there - driver got lost, stuck in traffic, tried to go under a bridge that was too small for coach - guests had to get out and tube it the rest of the way to avoid being late. Journey home - coach half an hour late, then the coach broke down, driver didnt tell any of the passengers and just shrugged his shoulders when asked what was happening, guests then had to run for the last train back to Southampton and paid over the odds on train fairs! To top it all off, on complaining, I was told that the passengers were told that there was a replacement coach on the way (not true, non of the guests were informed and not only that, but there actually WASNT another coach on the way!) and that there was a 'recording' of this conversation with the help line and one of the passengers. Conveniently, they kept me waiting when I asked to hear this. Completely refused to give a full refund despite having to make an alternative journey home, and only a partial refund - nearly 2 months after first complaining! Terrible, terrible customer service, please avoid!!!

The majority of experience was ok the planning of the route was fairly simple and easy to do once you got hold of someone that knew what they were doing. As for the luxury coach we paid for that was meant to be taking us to are destination and back. There was nothing luxury about it! For 24 passengers they sent a 57 coach Which wasn't that bad I suppose we all had plenty of room but as for the luxury side of things it had seats and that was it! I am maybe being a bit harsh but when you tell your friends that you sorted out and they have paid for a nice 24 seat coach to take us and a clapped out old school bus turns up it makes you look a bit of a mug! As for the driver he was quite helpful with keeping us on time and good at getting us where we needed to be but his constant telling of poor jokes wore a bit thin. The return journey was the same coach but a better driver. Overall rating got us there but expensive low luxury won't be using again.

I had ordered a coach well in advance for 14 people to be picked up from our hotel in the central London and taken to Thorpe park where we would spend the day.The coach was supposed to stay outside the park and wait for us ,as we had all our luggage in it.Firstly,the driver came to pick us up from our hotel 15' late.He blamed the traffic!The coach was too small for us and our luggage,so we ended up crammed in the back seats as the first ones were occupied with some of luggage.Secondly and most importantly,he was supposed to pick us up at 6 o'clock and drive us to the airport to catch our flight.Instead,he was NOT outside the park,as he was supposed to be,according to our arrangement with the company.I called him many times,and he complained AGAIN about the traffic.I also called the company,but the operator informed me that no one was there to receive my complaint and do something about it.We were standing outside the park in the rain,waiting for him!He showed up 40 minutes late and blamed the traffic again!!I will certainly NOT recommend this company or use it again.

I organised a trip to Thorpe Park from Manchester and asked for a 18 seater luxury vechile. I ended up with 18 seats, 2 seats at the front with the driver away from the rest of the party. Clearly this is an awkward situation to be travelling long distance with someone you dont know with very little space was highly annoying. Furthermore this 'luxury vehicle' that I ordered for extra money turned out to be complete and utter rubbish, with some broken seats, tight spacing, it was completely the wrong vehicle for a bunch of youngsters travelling a long way. The description used for the luxury vehicle was nothing but a lie and false advertising which was very misleading. It took me 3 weeks of endless phone calls and emails to contact the customer service department to try and get a refund, yes I got a refund but it was a very little one. I would NEVER travel with coachhire.com again, they are a waste of time and completely ruined the experience for me and my guests.
