This is my first time ordering from Trendhim! I discovered them online when looking for men bracelets for my fiancé for Valentines Day. I was extremely pleased! Even though I ordered the wrong size, the process to return or exchange was spot on! It was soooo easy and fast! I like their site at first I was confused just because there is so many items to look at and I had a little hard time finding things that fit me specifically, but after browsing around a little longer I was able to find alot of things I wanted.

Shaving is a process that I learned almost 80 years ago. At some point, I inherited my father's items that he used daily. There was the great heavy clattering Rolls Razor, and the beautiful, but tired-looking shaving brush. They already had a goodly number of years' use in their DNA, and it wasn't long before I put the razor into peaceful retirement, and the well-worn brush into the trash bucket. I still have that Rolls Razor, sitting in its little cardboard box, and hiding politely amid the piles of no-longer-used accessories that clutter up my lifestyle. From the Rolls, I went to Gillette for single-use disposable blades and whatever brush I might pick up along the way. Badger? Indeed, once or twice, yet ultimately lost along the way. Through the years I used and wore out many items. When the first steel razor blades showed up, they were secreted behind the counter in the pharmacy. A person needed to know they existed and to ask for them by name. I served in the British military and traveled to many parts of the world. And I still preferred the clean-shaven appearance. Ultimately I settled for a blade that would last me for two months, and a scuzzy little brush that I purchased for about ten dollars at a Walmart store. I put almost 20 years of faithful companionship into that primitive brush because it always delivered the service I needed. That faithful little friend still sits on the counter of my shaving work area, but I came to the decision that, despite my 87 years of life, I was entitled to something better, something fancier. I sort of knew about "boar bristle" brushes, and I knew that badger brushes were the best. Assembling the names together, I sought out a "boar badger" named brush. Using the trusty Internet I discovered that I could have such a brush for only about ten dollars more than I had paid for my faithful older brush. And then it arrived. It wasn't exactly what I expected. It seemed to have fewer bristles and have them arranged more loosely than I thought they should. I admit, for the price I paid they might be a reasonable value. I invested almost twenty dollars in the new brush and immediately wondered why it seemed to lack the qualities that I had wanted and needed. I decided that for the short time I might have awaiting me in my life, I deserved a real badger brush - pricey, but nonetheless the real thing. And so my adventure with the Trondhim true badger brush. I waited patiently as I discovered that it was not coming from a stash in some corner of the Amazon Company jungle, but rather shipped to me all the way from Denmark. It had better be good! As soon as the trusty mailman had delivered it to my mailbox, I opened up the package - and there, THERE, was the brush I had longed for - the brush that mimicked the one I had inherited from my father, almost three-quarters of a century earlier. It did not disappoint. Although I am a morning shaver, and it was about two-thirty in the afternoon, I had to take it out for a twiddle. It loaded up with my soap, the custom-made block shaving soap that I have used for years, and felt the smooth authoritative confidence with which it took over the task. I rinsed it off and parked it in the place of authority from which I expect to serve me for my remaining days or years as the Good Lord may supply. And now, at last, I have found my trusty companion for the morning shave. Its bristles are authoritative and present, but its ability to hold the exact amount of lather is essential. The brush has more to do than merely spread the lather around the face. An important, but often overlooked feature of its work is the firm but gentle massage of the skin. When I shave I do so much more than merely lathering up, rather I love to spread the lather and then swirl my brush into the spread lather to reach down to the actual skin surface, and the full structure behind it. For me, now, because I have totally reliable, two-month at a time, service from my blades, the lather, and the application of it becomes a far more important part of the morning ablutions. The pure badger bristles are put together in this brush in a manner that truly communicates the love and the care that they have for me. I had occasion during my picturesque life to have a barber manage my shaves for me. It was a warm, welcoming beginning for my workday. Now my workday is less complex, and the shaving part of it is entirely my responsibility. At last, I have a brush that returns the morning experience to a level of completeness that I have known and cherished in the past and now may enjoy every day. There was a good selection of products. Ordering was easy. Shipment tracking was easy. It was the holidays so my package ended up lost, but the Trendhim team was amazing to work with to get a replacement. They were quick, friendly, and highly responsive. Great experience.
