Firstly we should say that the only time we leave reviews is when we have been genuinely impressed by a company. That being said, a huge " thank you" to John Doe for supplying and fitting our lovely new hallway floor. Particular thanks to David,Sam,Katie and Danny in your Flooring department, without whose infinite patience, professional good practical advice we would never have considered this beautiful flooring. Thank you all so much for your help . Charlie and Jay, your own fitters were so helpful and courteous and just a pleasure to have in our home,and did an excellent job of both preparing our existing floor,which is a mix of floorboards and solid floor,and an amazing job of actually laying the Kardean flooring after all the detailed preparation. Also a thank you to the lovely office team,..we even had a smile on our face when we paid the bill ! We are very happy customers and genuinely wanted to say thank you to all at John Doe for the exceptional service they provide,which we consider to be head and shoulders above their competitors.

The entire process of selecting and ordering through to measuring and fitting our new carpet was pleasurable and painless. Everyone involved from John Doe Carpets was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and charming from beginning to end. We have used them before, and will do so again. Fabulous service from John Doe. I ordered a bed whilst staying with my relatives in Norfolk. Amazing shop. My bed was delivered by the very pleasant Simon all the way to Yorkshire from Norfolk!! I was expecting a lunchtime delivery. Simon was there at 9 am!, Fantastic service.

Nothing was too much trouble for the team in the soft furnishings and curtaining department who were very helpful and obliging from start to finish and were always on hand with advice when I needed it. Also the quality of their products are excellent. I will definitely shop there again.

The most enjoyable retail experience. Fantastic showroom with a good range of products to suit differing tastes and pockets. We were expertly looked after by Tina who sold to us without being at all pushy but knew her product and was so helpful. Having almost given up on finding what we wanted we are delighted to have found this great retailer with a proper family run feel.
