No refund given after 2 weeks of waiting!

Ordered an item on the 4th May, showing in stock. Came back same day saying it was not in stock so I requested a refund. It is now the 20th May and still no refund after chasing it. Be very careful when using this company.

Does not comply with regulation to protect customers

Due to this company believing they should not have to comply with the 2013 Consumer Contract regulations, which states that a company should refund your delivery charges when items are purchased online and cancelled within 14 days, I am now having to spend my time pursuing the matter personally and will be reporting this situation to trading standards. It’s a complete pain me having to now take matters further, but on principle someone needs to stand up against companies like this. If nothing else the staff time and effort they are going to have to spend going forward dealing with this matter will in itself be worth me pursuing the issue and not letting them do as they please. If you want to deal with a company that believes it does not have to follow regulations designed to protect customers buying online at a distance then go ahead at your peril. I appreciate this is an additional cost to the company, but that is no excuse not to comply, as the customer equally has to pick up the expense of the return delivery cost, when the item turns up not the colour expected and looks different to the colour on the images online. Being an online company you are already saving costs on having multiple retails units across the country, you therefore have to expect and factor in these direct costs as a result of selling online, especially as you are expected and obligated to refund delivery costs under the 2013 Consumer Contract Regulations when a customer cancels the contract within 14 days. The company has argued the regulations are not reasonable which is why they don’t comply with them. This shows a complete lack of respect with complying with regulations set to protect the consumer. Until there is any change to these regulations and new regulations produced, any respectable and professional company should comply with the law regardless of whether they agree with them or not. I’m not surprised this company only has 2.3 star rating. If they are not prepared to follow these regulations then personally I would be very concerned about what other regulations they are not prepared to comply with.

I ordered a cabinet in January

I ordered a cabinet in January. It is May and I still haven’t received it! Cancelled my order now but dang. A delivery that was advertised as a few days/weeks should not take five months. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Check the terms and conditions before placing an order

I would strongly recommend that anyone looking to buy from Bathroom Planet reads their terms and conditions first as i have just purchased a bath from them and when delivered the packaging looked damaged so i took photos while the delivery driver was still with the delivery and then i started to unpacking it to check and the driver said he was busy and needed to go so i needed to singe and he would report the damage for me so i signed for it unchecked. After a week we had not heard a thing so i tried to phone them which is impossible so i then started emailing and eventually managed to get a response only to be told i had gone over the 48hrs checking policy and they would not exchange it even though it is still in its original packaging so we now have a bath we cant use.i would strongly recommend buying from one of the more helpful bathroom suppliers online as we purchased so items from Nationwide bathrooms and Bathroom Supplies online and their customer service and is great .

Ordered a radiator a couple of weeks…

Ordered a radiator a couple of weeks before install Radiator turned up badly damaged they will not replace it as I did not open it up within 24hours. As I explained it was still damaged no matter when it was opened Why open up something days before you fit it risking damage and the potential to loose parts. Unrealistic terms and conditions Very poor company would not recommend them.

Great products and fantastic service!

Great products at a good price but the thing that really sets them above the rest is the fantastic customer service. I was kept regularly updated about my order and was pleasantly surprised by the really friendly and helpful delivery driver (a lot of other companies seem to employ grumpy drivers who practice the 'can only deliver to the kerb' routine). Highly recommended!

Terrible terrible terrible

Terrible terrible terrible Avoid this company at all costs. Take your money, no item for 6 weeks, finally send the wrong item and then say cannot except ‘returns’ Absolutely unbelievable. DO NOT USE!!!
