Poor tax/end of year experience.

March 8th, 2024 and my 2023 books aren’t completed. I got a call today asking me to upgrade my service to include HR. How about we deliver on the service you’re already contracted for? No filing extension fees (thank you), but Uncle Sam will be sure to incur their fees when the taxes are submitted. I prepaid for a year of bench service. Regret it. We’re working on a deal that could propel us forward, but no 2023 books is holding us back Find someone local that you can trust and depend on is the lesson I’m learning this tax season

Hi! Unfortunaley, I don’t know who I am dealing with. I don’t know who my bookkeeper is. I don’t know when is this going to stop. Every time there is a new bookkeeper that person doesn’t last. I don’t feel comfortable with has been done with my books. I am not confident that my books have been done correctly. I have lost trust and confidence in Bench in general. The sale ppl presented a service I thought it would be beneficial to my business. That has not happened. I have spent several thousand dollars for a service I don’t think is accurate. I am continuing to pay for a service that I don’t think the service is worth the invested made. I would like to talk to a manager.

EXTREMELY POOR

I have been a long-time customer of Bench, but unfortunately, the quality of service has drastically declined over the past few years. The company has become completely unresponsive, and despite having automated accounts, they still require manual uploads of everything. The service has been consistently terrible, with nothing getting done and no communication from their end. What was once a decent service has now turned into an absolute nightmare. This decline is consistent with many other reviews I’ve come across. I’m not sure what has happened to Bench, but it’s clear that it’s no longer reliable. Not recommended at all.

The Worst!

Do not use Bench. I purchased the Bench.co Premium plan, paid in full a year up front, and have to agree with so many other reviews about the "shocking incompetence" of this company. They cite contractual obligations as to why I can't even cancel until 60 days from the end of my contract (July 2024) and will not refund money, but have no accountability for their inability to perform contracted work. Questions go unanswered, work does not get done, they ask for the same thing over and over again despite it being uploaded. And cancelling IS a nightmare. I've read through the carefully crafted "non-responses" from Bench.co here and can assure you, they do not take the complaints seriously.

A timely response

My experience with Bench staff is very good that they respond right away for your questions. Whenever I ask question, I get response same day unless it is after hour.
