I just received a message that they flagged my story for 'harmful / illegal content' Message to the moderators of trustpilot: please check this company's page thoroughly and also check all the positive reviews and their accounts. They always do this, both in their customer service interactions and on review sites; pretending they haven't done anything wrong. If you need any proof or information, let me know. I have loads of logs and customer service interactions available. Just google 'upgrow.com' scam, and the first thing you see is a big digital marketing agency named upgrow.io, warning people of imitating. A couple of months ago, I was searching for a way to boost my account in the Instagram algorithm, but in a 'fair' way. While googling some sites, I found Upgrow. According to their website, Upgrow uses some 'tricks' to boost your account in your favor, helping you reach your audience within the content categories you focus on. This means that when you post content, you have a 'better chance' to show your content and gain more followers. First, you register and choose a subscription. After doing that, I started filling in information like hashtags, similar accounts, and countries I wanted to reach. I aimed to target gaming, tech, geek, and anime audiences, so I focused on that. After a couple of days, some followers started to follow me. When I checked these followers, they were accounts that weren’t even close to my target audience; they were gym trainers, food enthusiasts, etc. Upon visiting these accounts, I noticed they were hidden. After further checking, I discovered they were 'professional fake accounts,' and I started getting more and more, hundreds in a week. After a few days, I contacted Upgrow, explaining that this was ruining my engagement. They claimed the fake followers weren’t from them and that they only send real followers to your account. I paused the dashboard, and within days, the followers stopped coming. In the meantime, Instagram flagged 20% of them automatically as suspicious. After a chat with their support team, they told me it was part of the 'warmup' process and that I needed to let it happen (I have all the chat history logged). So, I started the process again and waited. After posting some content, I didn't see any more reach than before; it didn't change. I know that quality content is necessary, but the reach should have been bigger (more views). I contacted Upgrow again, feeling that these fake followers were lowering my chances of reaching my actual audience because they were unrelated. After contacting them again, they were nice and offered a discount, assuring me they wanted this to work as much as I did. So, I was convinced and waited for a couple of months. Now, months and many fake followers later, I saw many posts on Reddit from people having the same experience as I did, with their accounts being negatively affected by the algorithm. I contacted Upgrow again, and they suggested boosting my account with a better subscription for free. Of course, I did that, and I started getting 30 fake followers a day, even more unrelated and fake than before. I contacted them again three days ago to end my subscription and told them I felt scammed. They deleted my account, and you know what they said? This: 'All set! I have just canceled your service, so kindly allow 24 hours for the followers to totally stop coming in.' In other words, they send you high-quality fake followers and claim they are real. Instagram doesn't flag them because they give them just enough followers and following, and they post a bit of fake content so they aren’t flagged as fake. Their manipulative customer service team does everything to keep you subscribed for as long as possible. The only 'fair' thing is that they make it easy for you to leave if you want. But they will not refund your money after all those months. Upgrow says this: "No bots, no fake followers, no passwords. Organic growth by real-human IG experts & patented AI. Guaranteed growth – or your money back." But this is totally misleading and not how they say it. Also, what I find suspicious are the 5-star reviews on Trustpilot, mostly from people who have left only one review in total. It feels like those are fake too. On Reddit, many say their complaints are deleted. I will check if that happens with my review as well. So, it’s my own fault. I thought I found a modern trick to show my content to the rest of the world, and because I believed it, I stayed for months, allowing them to earn quite a profit. Please be critical when you’re planning to use Upgrow. Check Reddit, check the internet, and if there are good stories, verify that the account posting the review is legitimate and real.

Everything is so much easier with them. Growing my account used to be a grind and a struggle and now I dont't even worry about it.

I highly recommend that others avoid Upgrow and save their money. There are many legitimate services out there for growing your social media presence, but Upgrow is definitely not one of them. I singned up awhile back and saw some increase in the fast few weeks,but they weren't the proper followers.I contacted the support team, who rectified it immediately away. After that,I noticed the correct crowd begin to follw me.

I’m waiting on them to refund my payment, I have proof with all the followers are fake. I’m strongly going to take legal action ,i have reached out to them no one responds.

I used their service for two months, and all I got were hundreds of fake followers—almost all from Bangladesh (something other reviewers have also noted). So what happens is you get tons of new followers but zero engagement. When I reached out to them, they said it must be my targeting settings. But that was not the case, as I had specifically targeted only people in the U.S., Western Europe, and Japan. I also pointed out the discrepancy between what their dashboard showed (majority of followers from the U.S.) with what Instagram provided (90% of followers from Bangladesh), and their response was (and this is a direct quote): "This variation could be influenced by factors such as user account settings or differences in data update timings between the two platforms." I will allow you, the reader of this, to make your own judgment of this response. But for me, this seemed ridiculous and was what finally compelled me to cancel my subscription. I should have done more research before signing up. Hopefully, if you're reading this, you will make better decisions than I did.

A high level of support regarding the goals we wanted an the ways to reach them, some are routine and well executed and some are original and very effective. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to manage a high-level network presence on Instagram, with results, at a not bad price at all.
