The cabin was nice. The only thing we didn't like was that the hot tube was dirty and the grill was very dirty.

Big Bear Cool Cabins quickly responds to questions, are friendly, and efficient with the checkin and check out process. I was nervous with it all being processed through technology but the overall experience was amazing.

I think it should be disclosed for this listing that there is no air conditioner. It was 93 degrees in Big Bear during our stay and incredibly hot in the chalet. The staff was incredibly quick to rectify the fact that we could not access the pool. After contacting them, we drove to the office but were given the wrong key. They quickly delivered the correct one which earned them another star. While I understand this is primarily a winter rental, the one tiny tower fan did nothing to combat the heat.

The home was nice, as advertised on the website. We had a problem with a door and maintenance came to try to repair it. They could not but they did try. I wish if the house is ready we could enter early (even 15-60 minutes) instead of just wasting time until the dot of 4:00.

We had a wonderful time! It was easy access to the house, everything was organized and clean and easy to use. We were able to contact you guys easily with quick response. We will definitely be coming back and using cool cabins again!

I have used Cool Cabins for at least 8 years now. Their customer service has always been top notch. This stay was the same on the customer service. We got to the Blue Lagoon cabin on June 23rd. On touring the rooms. The loft bedroom upstairs had a toilet that was like a foot off the ground. No adult would be able to sit and touch the ground. There are multiple step ups and downs in random places. There is no washer and dryer. That is something I wouldn't look for in a cabin because they all have had them. Can you imagine 8 people not prepared for not being able wash their clothes. There is a dock , so most activities include the water with no way to wash and dry and not enough towels to accommodate. No screen doors. So you can't open the doors to get a breeze unless you let in every flying bug. The propane was empty on the barbecue and the livingroom T.V would not hook up to the Roku. I called Cool Cabins and they sent someone right away to bring the new cable and the propane. The best thing about the property is the back yard and dock. The back yard is well kept . The master bedroom is beautiful with beautiful views the downstairs bedroom nice. Needs t.v s and fans in all the rooms if staying in the summer. Overall our stay was nice, however the listing needs to say" no washer and dryer"

Cabin was as advertised.

The cabin was filthy. The deck was unusable because the furniture was broken or in such bad condition we didn’t dare use it. The furniture in the cabin was tired and not comfortable. There was only three forks, one juice glass and about 10 coffee cups of which six were cracked. The plates were chipped. The light in the bedroom didn’t work. Overall it was not a good rental experience. The screen door was broken upon arrival. A maintenance man came and reattached it but there were large gaps both top and bottom. We had to keep the door closed to prevent mosquitos from coming in. We have rented many places and this was the shabbiest.
