Website stock is wrong

Website stock is wrong. It said that the computer I was after was in stock but it wasn't. It has taken a week to get it delivered, when I called no one knew anything. Very poor service compared to the usual mail order companies, I will stick with them in the future.

Good prices, good service - who needs more?

Bought an old-stock item from h2 via their website. Price was good, transaction was painless, and when I contacted them to confirm the delivery date they couldn't have been more helpful. I found the staff very friendly and helpful and when I spoke to them, demonstrated very good levels of customer service. Will definitely be adding them to my list of go-to bike bits suppliers.

My experience with h2gear

Willing, customer focused and driven more by a service excellence than by money. I would definitely return to this retailer over any other

Giant Road E 1 Electric Bike

Bought a Giant Road E 1 in early May for a hilly, 50 mile (round trip) commute in West Cumbria. The H2 price is very competitive. It's for an E1 not an E1+. Apparently the difference is in the display, software and lack of walk mode. The H2 website isn't clear on this and I had to phone the shop to ask. Delivery was quick although originally not for the day that I'd asked for. The bike was well packed and only needed handlebars and pedals to be fitted. The Road E1 is ideal for my use. The battery lasts up to 100 miles including 5000ft of climbing which equates to 2 round trips. Over 25 miles it probably saves me 30 minutes and makes hills a doddle. Things have not all been plain sailing over the 450 miles covered so far. The front hydraulic brake quickly faded and then failed altogether. Forums suggest that this is fairly common. Luckily I have a bleed kit. The rear brake is catching possibly due to disc warp. The rear tyre had a manufacturing defect causing a slight bulge. It made things a bit bumpy and yesterday it burst. Unfortunately, it's taken H2 over 3 weeks to send me a replacement. Despite the hills most of the 22 gears are redundant. The rear derailleur is smooth, the front less so especially under load. Apart from these niggles I'm happy. The bike is comfortable and without the electric motor I wouldn't be commuting. Seat feels hard at first but soon breaks in. Changes I'd make may include; slightly wider tyres; 38c, as there are lots of potholes, a strong, stainless steel chain; the original is a bit flexible and thicker, less liable to warp discs.

Great service

Great service. My bike arrived safe and sound due the the excellent way in which it was packaged. Calling to enquire about a couple of points I needed clarifying, Matt was very helpful. Overall very pleased.
