People's Trust provided a much better home insurance plan than the company I had been with for many years.

My agent included a coverage I did not want and it took months with numerous follow ups for Peoples Trust to refund the premium difference. Sure hope I don't have a claim.... foot dragging seems to be their modus operandi.

My agent has been great working with me and when I had some work done to my house to improve the structural integrity I immediately received a refund from the agency. Great Service!

Rates are more reasonable but the proof will be the payment of claims should that be needed!

Please google "sun-sentinel Peoples Trust Insurance " and read the 2 articles about them incentivizing their contractors to cut corners on repairs as well as suing their policyholders. They have treated my elderly mother with complete disregard and disrespect which compelled me to post this. Hope this saves someone unnecessary stress and money.

I had I insurance for only 4months and people's insurance cancelled my policy for no reason and stole my money.Never got a refund.What a scam company to get insurance from.All of Florida will hear about it.

I provided a rating of four stars because somehow I just cannot seem to get anybody to make me understand how and why I keep getting a bill for $70… Based on my prior insurance carrier, supposedly it is because I didn’t have a certain element in my previous insurance. That has been proven to be false I’ve spoken to so many people at peoples trust and nobody can seem to get it right. I’ve spoken to my insurance company and they keep telling me they have provided all of the information that peoples insurance may need. I have no idea as to how to get the $70 balance away from my insurance premium. That is the only reason I provided a rating of four stars.
