Nothing terrible happened—actually the exact opposite. I paid what I thought was a fair amount for my homeowners' insurance earlier this year. What I didn't know was that P.T. had approximated my discounts, which is normal, before all the reports were done, like wind mitigation. When the actual wind mitigation report came through, P.T. lowered my insurance cost by $1300.00. They sent me a refund check, which was a Godsend during this pandemic. (To be upfront, I had a new roof installed 14 months before I went with P.T. My old insurance company did nothing.
