I was approved

Avant has afforded me the opportunity to continue to build my credit. Months after receiving my credit card (thank you), i was interested in a loan BUT had to close my credit card 1st! "You can only have "'one product'" at one time. I closed the account only not to apply for the loan but to reapply for the credit card again. My credit score took a hard hit AND it was listed as a close account. Their CS is good and they work with people.

Avant does not allow mail to be received at PO Box.

They turned my card off and don’t know why it’s not activated or working when it was working before

I got thr text my order was ready and when I arrived it was in my car and I was on my way in 5 minutes. Awesome!!

Okay so I'm not sure who is at fault here, Credit Karma or Avant. But on October 3, 2024 Credit Karma gave me a Karma Guarantee that if I signed up for the Avant Rewards Credit card, no annual fee, that I'd be approved or they would give me $50. I signed up and was approved for an Avant credit card but it was only after I received my first statement that I found out I didn't get the Avant Rewards credit card that I signed up for. I just got the Avant credit card. That was not what I signed up for and I'm not happy about it. I was only approved for a measly $500, the interest rate is high, plus you can't even sign up to get any kind of text message alerts about transactions or anything. There's not much at all on the app that you can do except make your payment. One thing I do like is that you can pay with a debit card instead of only having the option to connect a bank account like most credit cards. But other than that, it's not been the best decision I've ever made and that's for sure. Also, when I click the link in the email I got from Avant to review them on credit karma, it takes me to the credit karma website but won't let me review the card and when I tried to click the link in the avant email saying to review them on trustpilot, it just pretends to load forever and I never get anywhere so I just came to the trustpilot site and left a review instead.

Amazing!!! I was not expecting to get approved as I thought I was going to get turn down but thankfully I got approved and within days I had the money transferred. I recommend 💯

My credit when i signed up for this card was in the fair range. Granted i have done plenty of work on it since and never used this card for many purchases. I was given a $700 credit limit which i never came close to exceeding. I have excellent payment history and have 0 missed payments on any lines of credit. I was initially ok with the exorbitant annual fee and high interest rate cause thats the norm these days for a fair credit score. But recently was hit with an additional $9 monthly service charge on top of the $100 annual. I the application has no push notification alert option so i didnt even know that i had a payment because i havent used the card in 6 months, so not only was there a surprise monthly fee i now had a late fee (which they did email me about). The CS line when setting this card up was atrocious it took 3 attempts and 2 months to get the card issued to the correct address due to an error in their data entry during set up, but Avant isnt even the servicer in charge of card issuing so it was a nightmare getting that handled. Im not generally one to leave detailed reviews but i think everyone should know that this company is a total scam. There are better CC companies to do business with than this one. And Experian, you should be ashamed of yourself for offering this card to people.
