DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! I ordered readers online. Frames Direct took the payment from my credit card immediately then sent an email hours later asking to confirm that I do in fact want readers, not a prescription. If they are so concerned about that, they should have confirmed at checkout. The email stated, "if we do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, we will process the order as submitted." Three days go by and no word from them. I went online to check the order status via the contact form. They replied via email a few hours later with the same BS wanting to confirm that I wanted readers. (They lied about processing the order as submitted after 24 hours.) I replied to that email saying that I do indeed want readers only to get a bounced email notice stating that their email address was undeliverable. ANOTHER LIE. I called the 800 number to confirm that I wanted readers only to find out that the frames I wanted were on backorder. ANOTHER LIE. They don’t state that an item is out of stock on their website or mention via email that your frames are delayed or on back order. Shady AF! They wasted no time taking payment and had no intention of processing the order. They had ample opportunity to let me know about the back order and they did not do so until I reached out to them.

Quality Control

My glasses came in, the right side lens has what appears to be a ruff edge and the left side lens has a permanent smudge like finger prints. They are supposed to have anti reflective, not sure if it was put on since they are pretty reflective.

My frames, from the optician, got broken. Frames direct had exactly what I needed. They saved me hundreds of dollars. I'll be ordering my next prescription from Direct Frames.

Rayban Frames

I was able to replace my broken Rayban frames and they were quick with shipping. The packaging was neat and it came with several cleaning cloths. They also have a big selection online, and I may buy a different pair in the future!
