The mattress we chose in the Pemberton store is nothing like what was delivered . This is not a case of a mattress being too hard or soft...it is clearly damaged. How it got past quality control is a mystery . Large camber at the sides and deep recess in the middle . it’s visible to the naked eye . My partner reported it immediately and we have not used it since a couple of days after delivery. We have been continually fobbed off . They did send a so called independent technician but he clearly stated that the tolerances were wide ranging and subjective rather than a set standard . We are not complaining for the sake of it .this mattress is faulty . A company of any standing would offer a refund or a replacement even if they thought they were right . They continually promise to phone back but never do .We have to ring them and no progress is ever made .This company expects us to go away . We are not going away . We hoped for an amicable solution but its looks like legal action will be needed to get redress. The usual standard reply that most customers are happy and that they adhere to standards etc . All well and good but no company is perfect and occasionally standards slip below the norm . In summary even the best companies sometimes get it wrong . Companies of good standards sometimes hold their hands up and admit to an occasional failing. Not Land of Beds it seems who steadfastly refuse to accept that a damaged product should be refunded. DONT BE MISLED BY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ON HERE . LOOK AT THE RELYON REVIEWS ON TRUSTPILOT FOR MATTRESS. MANY WHICH ECHO MY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES .

Just want to order a bed. …
Possibly the worst service and store supplying beds we have ever visited. For over 5 weeks we have been trying to source material swatches to order a bed. No one orders material furnishings without knowing the material or seeing a sample. This store sells beds but does not have up to date swatch books for the beds it sells. So how can a customer make an informed decision on whether they want to purchase. 5 weeks ago we visited the store and picked a bed but no up to date swatch. We were informed by Charley that swatches would be sent out. We waited over 2 weeks no sign so we contacted the store and they said they would get them resent out. Another 10 or so days past no sign. Re contacted the store customer services and they spoke to the bed supplier but another 8 days later we have had no contact of any form from the store and still no swatches to order a bed. It has taken from the 19th September to the present day the 21st October and we still can’t order a bed. As a basic store requirement for any store selling material furniture you think they would have a up to date swatch book for customers to view even as the least. I contacted so called customer service this morning and they still do not have an information whatsoever. No swatch book for the store or for us as a customer to view. Excuses and lack of communication between customer service and other staff members who are actually in the same building is a joke. As for the lack of communication with customers is even more concerning. Customer service think one phone message to a customer to say they will be chasing the issue up with the supplier next week is actually customer service, that was 8 days ago.

This was our second purchase from land of beds in Helsby Cheshire. On arrival we were greeted by Charley who was very friendly & pleasant throughout our visit. Charley explained everything we needed to know before we made our purchase. We were spoilt for choice with the large range of beds they offer. We would highly recommend you to go and look at the quality beds they offer to anyone looking for a good night's sleep.
