As soon as we walked into the showroom, Irene was very welcoming, super friendly and talked us through all available options. There was no pressure at any point in making a sale which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The mattress size we were looking for was non standard and she was able to give us lots of good advice & guidances. Sales team very good - delivery not so good
Our experience with purchasing two mattresses from Land of beds was very good. There was a slight delay due to problems with their manufacture but we were promptly informed by a very nice lady and the delay was not very long. Our experience with the delivery company used was not so good. Our two single mattresses arrived on time. However we feel more care should have been taken with their handling considering the the price of them exceeded £1000. Our understanding is that the bulky mattresses should be handled by two people, which was not the case, and from removal from the van to taking them to our room of choice, upstairs, care was not taken to prevent them from being bent and twisted about in the process. The delivery men also seemed unaware that we had paid for "room of choice" although, to be fair they did accept that this was correct. On a personal note, with absolutely no reference to cultural differences, one of the men heavily smelled of their type of cooking which involved us having to air the whole house afterwards to remove the smell.
