I can highly recommend Umberella.co.uk. I have used this service recently whilst completing a temp assignment. My pay was always dealt with in a prompt and timely fashion,from day one. Good customer service and prompt communication

Austin at Umbrella is my go to company for anything I need doing. He and his colleagues are absolutely brilliant. They have taken on some hard jobs, completed them perfectly, listened and acted on any issues and fixed them, and once you get a quote it’s fixed. I have spent a lot of money on my house with another company because original estimate changed all the time, but with Umbrella every penny has been worth it. The plus is that the team are funny relaxed, extremely respectful and love my digger dog. They are just digging up a whole garden to replace the garden With paving and Austin has taken the stress out of it for me as it’s a massive job. He’s just told me to sit back and he will sort it. Wow! So nice to have a true builder that I can trust. Just give them good coffee and tea lol. Highly recommended and totally reliable.

I am very disappointed with this company, as I haven't been paid correctly and on time. I have had to liaise between my agency and Umbrella as there has been several errors being made the two companies March 2023. And to my utter disgust I was due to get my full salary today plus what both owed me from last week. I have only been paid half of my salary today which leaves me at a loss of earnings. This company does not even send you wage slips before contractors even get paid so we have no idea what is being deducted until the day after if we are lucky. They have been making a few errors with the invoices and sending them to my agency Senitor, and this has caused me to get less pay and get paid just before 6pm. I was reassured by the director of the company Umbrella that due to the tax going up, my salary would be a little less than it would be normally but I would pretty much get what I am owed for the 5 days a week I work plus the money owed from a week ago which was deducted. Today, is ultimately the last straw for me as I haven't even been feeling well recently and this is added headache and stress for me. It seems like people tell you something, and then they tell you something else, however the actions show something different. What I see at the end of the day after working 5 days full time, should not mean I should have a massive amount of tax or money deducted. I have zero faith in this company and nor does my colleague. I have bills to pay, and I cannot even enjoy the East Break knowing that I have to cancel my plans because of the agency and Umbrella company. Its bad enough that the cost of living is ridiculous but to be taxed off or cut half of what my salary usually is, to me is an utter job and its humiliating. Why the hell am I even working in the first place??? Thanks very much Umbrella. You take £35 per week from myself and others, plus other payments, you don't send us the wageslips in advance and we have to wait until the next day to see what goes in and out of our salary. Things have gone wrong too many times already. I have no faith or confidence anymore and in the future I no longer want to work under an umbrella company ever again! I work my butt off for peanuts money when cost of living and everything is expensive!! They make money for messing up peoples pay honestly. And I feel so anxious and stressed that I will be looking for a jog directly with an employer now no more agency rubbish!

The first issue with this company was the rewards section They first signed me up and then the person in Umbrella suggested a previous employer signed me up when they had not. This led to me emailing back and explained Umbrella set me up with a sister company called MoneyLogic however, all their rewards are in USA which means i cant access any and they are are advertising Starbucks etc which I cant have - still waiting for this to be rectified! A further issue I have is the pay. I was not paid on the date I should be paid, there excuse was they were waiting for the agency for some reason or another. not good enough given my contract is with them meaning I shouldn't go without pay. When they had finally paid, this was with some advance payment , not sure why? Not explained fully to me this wouldn't be a full payment. It was later explained this would be rectified when full payment is made however still no date. To date I am still missing 1 weeks pay from over 2 weeks ago as well as a part payment- this is adding up and is worrying. There is a lack of sharing information to the employee who is paying for this service and delays which are tiresome and stressful. My advice would be to avoid them as I have little confidence in them

After a bumpy start with some slightly misleading figures on commission I actually grew to like this Umbrella company. Most of the issues caused were due to my incompetent recruiter messing up my timesheets but thankfully Liam & Josh at Umbrella sorted me out with quick solutions to ease the stress and get me paid asap. Very responsive and proactive. Highly recommendo!
