Cancelled my sons test I personally booked without any consultation, rebooked his test for five months, they cancelled the course without a refund, stating my son had work commitments complete lie, worst company I've ever dealt with I'm now having to take it to a civil court to recover my deposit

I paid a £175 deposit toward their 10 hour intensive driving course on June 22nd, and aside from an automatic receipt email sent upon booking, I had no correspondence via email since. This, amongst other things, made me suspicious of the company and I wanted to cancel the course pursue a refund last night. Despite this being within my right as intensivelessons.co.uk provide a service (hence the Distance Selling Cooling Off Period covers a 14 day refund period), the reply I got from the company was unhelpful and did not acknowledge much of what I said except to say the Cooling Off period doesn't apply as the driving lessons they provide are 'leisure activities' (this is in contradiction to English distance selling legislation, which does not prescribe such under an exception) - needless to say I was not impressed. I responded with another email with further details of my experience and also asking about whether they were in a alternative dispute resolution scheme. Yet again, intensivelessons.co.uk did not respond with a suitable response, largely ignoring the contents of my email and resorting to accusing me of not being able to read their emails and web pages. All of this is in addition to continuing to refuse a refund (which is against English consumer legislation) and ignoring my request for cancellation. I am going to pursue legal action. UPDATE - tried to get this review taken down from this site through emails and through the website's own integrity filter.

Amazing service from start to finish, easy to organise and fast date for the test. Massive thank you to Guy for the lessons, time, patience and laughs. Perfect for someone who suffers with anxiety and after many years of on/off lessons finally passing first time.

I started my journey new years eve last year, due to the reviews and pass rates intensive lessons was a no brainer. I chose the 15 hour course as I had plenty of drive hours and was very confident. Very quickly was my theory test date within the first month great I thought until I failed (that was all my fault) booked another 4 and intensive lessons helped out with date changes and times to fit my work load no worries. Finally I passed great only 6 attempts ( went through alsorts of mind frames along the way ) Within a week of passing it my test was booked for 3 weeks time scary thought but they set me up with Mohammaday Khan and as much as we had our difference in opinions I trusted in him and did what he told me to do, he is so very good at building confidence and has an amazing way of getting the fundamentals stuck in the brain so you cannot help but repeat then, I asked him if he would sitting in on the test and he said it was my choice and of course I said yes, to have the guy that taught me what I knew sat with me gave me a great boost of confidence and loe and behold I passed first time. I want to thank the guys at intensive lessons you was amazing and I will recommend you to every one but I want to give the greatest thank you and recommendation to Mohammaday Khan I owe my passing to you.
