I ordered a Zwilling Saute pan from Kitchen knives. Placed the order on a Saturday and Monday I received an apologetic email about a computer glitch that had occured over the weekend and as a result the delivery of my pan would be delayed by a day. The message was accurate as one day later than expected the pan was delivered. I am impressed by the honest communication and service from Kitchen Knives.

Frustrating!

This was a comedy of errors and totally frustrating, I placed my order on the 5th of August only to receive an age verification e-mail, They wanted to check my entry in the electoral roll well I'm not on the publicly available edition so that was out, the only other choice was to provide a credit card guess what I don't use them only debit cards so I was unable to pass their age verification ! Totally frustrating. I was then bombarded with e-mails asking me to verify my age. After speaking to a human at the company they asked I send a copy of my driving licence, that done I received an e-mail saying my knife would be dispatched the next day. During this period I also mailed them requesting they stop sending me age verification e-mails I received a reply apologising and assuring me I wouldn't receive any further ones. The following day I received an e-mail stating they had "tech" problems and my knife had been delayed. Eventually I received my knife, followed by yet another e-mail stating as I had failed their age verification process my order had been cancelled! This has put me off ever ordering a kitchen knife online.
