I was sold a knife that was supposedly in stock. After many emails requesting updates on my delivery I was told that they were waiting for stock to arrive. Eventually I was told that the stock was available but that they could not verify my age. After emailing a copy of my passport and waiting another week I phoned to be told that they were waiting for stock to come in. My advice is to shop elsewhere. These people are incompetent and happy to mislead customers. Even the reply to this is ridiculous, "I hope you have not received the product and are enjoying it." Not recieved the product and am enjoying it???

I am recent new customer. On my first order I made a mistake (my mistake) which the KitchenKnives team cleared up via a prompt and personal email when I contacted them. My replacement order was dispatched and received quickly. Product range, pricing, service are all excellent and I will happily order again.

Very bad customer service
Low quality knives, plus very bad customer service I bought an expensive knife from them, which was oddly very dull. They asked me to send it back and admitted that it is a very unusual case. I asked for either refund or replace. They dismissed it, and said "out of good will" they will sharpen it for me "FOC", as there is no fault with the knife. I wonder what other faults a knife can have apart from not even cutting a tomato!

Appalling customer service, and very poor after sales policies. Avoid shopping here if you can. I recently ordered a very smart pepper mill as part of a 60th birthday present for my brother. It arrived well packaged, however, when I went to wrap the present, I noticed that the mill was damaged, with lots of small wear and tear marks around the barrel that meant I couldn't possibly give it as a gift. I called the customer services team, hoping for help, as we were still in time to replace the present in time for his birthday. I was told that since the pepper mill had arrived more than 48 hours ago (I'm a well organised present shopper!) there was nothing that they could do to assist, other than me purchasing a replacement myself. The whole experience has been awful. I regret shopping here and suggest that others do not shop here either. Other stores take better care of their customers.

Little disappointed as was hoping to…
Little disappointed as was hoping to get the knives next day, just rang and got straight though and customer services were helpful and polite. Explained that one knife was out of stock so they held the order back, it doesn't clearly show as out of stock on the website and this may have impacted my purchase if I knew this. Its understandable but the website could be clearer. Now 1 star as have had zero communication since this phone call. Expected a lot better.
