I bought a knife for our 25th wedding anniversary 2 years ago. My husband doesn't ask for much, but it was his prized possession. It developed a flaw (very very rare but it happens) and I got in touch with these folks, who are the UK sales team, to see if it was under warranty. They were soooo kind and so very helpful!!! After seeing the photos they replaced the knife and the delight on my husband's face was wonderful to see!! I would buy from these folks again in a heartbeat. Lucy and Ben in particular helped me and they were so understanding and so very kind. If you need a quality knife these are the people to buy from. Can't say enough good about them!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Misleading Product Description and Unhelpful Customer Service from 'KitchenKnives'
I recently made a purchase from 'KitchenKnives' and unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the experience. One of the products I received, the Global Leather Knife Sheath, does not match the description provided on the website and is therefore misleading. When I contacted the retailer to bring this to their attention, they refused to accept any responsibility for their inaccurate product description. They offered me the option to return the item, but at my own expense. Additionally, the evidence I provided to support my claim was dismissed by their sales and customer service team, who were unhelpful and wasted my time. As a result of this experience, I caution everyone who wishes to purchase an item from this website. 'KitchenKnives' has been reported to the Trading Standards Agency for inaccurate product descriptions, and an investigation is currently pending. It is my hope that they will amend this false information online so other customers are not disappointed. As for my own issue, I am still waiting for 'KitchenKnives' to resolve it, but I am not hopeful. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with this retailer and would not recommend them to anyone. Poor customer service seems to be a common theme at Kitchen Knives.

False advertising, pathetic service - Avoid!
Ordered a "Special offer" set of Global knives G636/6B, specifically so that I would not have doubles. A great set by all accounts. Received G636/05ST (The set released before the one I ordered) and a free set of scissors (Bonus - or so I thought). My partner opened the knives/scissors before I got home and showed me and it transpired two of the knives were different in this set. Got in touch, sent photos etc and a return was arranged after 3 days negotiating! Replacement set received was exactly the same. It took a further week of negotiating, 2 more members of staff and sending more photos to arrange a second return, and they are now charging me £11.99 for the free scissors (which would not be worth £11.99 if they were gold plated!). They wanted to charge £17.99 till I pointed out the current selling price on their website, but they reduced it as "A gesture of good will". It transpires none of their stock matches what they are advertising as a G636/6B set on the website. So I'm 3 weeks in, 2 sets of the wrong knives, and I'm £11.99 out of pocket. Pathetic!

What a lovely little company to deal…
What a lovely little company to deal with. I bought a knife set in the black Friday sale as a Xmas gift. When opened and used a discovery was made of one knife being ever so slightly faulty. I emailed the company a few photos and a description of the fault and within a week a new knife was sent out and I'm very happy with the customer services and after sales team. I'm off to order with them. Once more. Please do not hesitate to use this company. Many thanks.

Last minute Xmas present decision
Last minute Xmas present decision: a block of German professional kitchen knives. Three days left before Xmas but KitchenKnives.co.uk got them to us without any trouble (incl. added promotional high quality gift). Their choice of forwarder: DPD. Well done! Communication throughout was excellent.

I ordered a knife sharpener on 22/12/22. Kitchen Knives are refusing to investigate a lost parcel
I ordered a knife sharpener on 22/12/22. Even though they offered next day delivery before Christmas, it arrived a day late and I was unable to be at home to collect it on 24th December so I redirected it to Homebase. It was meant to be delivered a few days later but it didn't and I instead received a notification on the 29th December it has been delivered to 'Unknown'. It wasn't delivered to Homebase and I tried several attempts to get through to DPD to investigate but customer service was poor and due to work commitments I don't have the time to spend hours on the phone/emailing companies to chase lost parcels. I finally had the opportunity to speak to DPD on Wednesday 25th January who informed me that Kitchen Knives would be able to make a claim within 30 days of the parcel being lost. The 30th day being 28th January 2023. Kitchen Knives customer service have for the last few days been saying there is nothing they can do about the lost parcel, however offered me 10% off another purchase. I am out of pocket for the product I bought + the postage I paid for, DPD have lost the parcel, have informed me they have a 30 day claim limit and yet Kitchen Knives have been blocking any attempt at helping me. They have taken my money, want me to spend more money with them and are refusing to investigate the lost parcel. I have spoken to DPD once again today who has confirmed a 30 day claim limit, which I am still within. You have stolen my money and not provided a product, even though the delivery company is saying there is a process in place for claims such as this! There is also no timeframe within your terms and conditions that says when a lost parcel needs to be claimed for. Regardless, as above, I'm still within the DPD claims timescale. I didn't choose DPD to deliver my parcel, Kitchen Knives did.
