Poor. Ordered a Christmas present on the 19th of December in the hopes it would arrive by Christmas. The item was listed as in stock on their web site, many products listed out of stock. I purchased the item and emailed to ask them if my item would arrive by Christmas. I received an email back to say the item would be collected on the 23rd and delivered the 24th I even got an email from dpd to say the same. Although on the 23rd at 4pm I was left a voice mail saying the item is on back order and will arrive mid January! So they’ve had my order since the 19th and only let me know at 4pm the day before Xmas Eve I wouldn’t be getting my item leaving no time for them to perhaps post out something similar they actually had in stock.

Kitchenknives.co.uk need to sharpen up! By all means wonder at the generous discounts but temper the blade of your expectations when it comes to delivery times. 😂 Three items I ordered, all shown as next day delivery. There was info on the order that the courier driver would need to see ID to show I was over 18 since it contains knives. A week after placing my order and I got an email saying I needed to send a copy of my ID to them… no mention of that prior but whatever, I did it. Was told two days after that that my order had now been dispatched, and was given a delivery date. Did not arrive. Tracking info showed the courier didn’t even have it yet. Presumably still sitting there in the warehouse counts as ‘dispatched’. Just began to felt I was being conned and lied to about the actual status of the order. Only after ordering did I see reviews with issues such as taking your money, then having ‘supply issues’ and then stalling on refunds, so I was getting increasingly worried for seeing my £190 again. 19 days after my order was placed they were finally delivered. So two stars… It’s what I ordered, it was ok value but still an expensive purchase, but it was a bad bad bad experience as a customer and it will be the one and only time I ever shop there, and I sure will not be recommending them to anyone.

Refund must include delivery

This is for Claire, who said that a £6 deduction was made from her refund for the original delivery charge. The law is VERY clear, they cannot do that. Both the cost of the purchase AND the outgoing delivery charge MUST be refunded

Great customer service, communication and fast delivery. I was missing an item from my order and on contacting them, I received my missing item the next day. I would definitely recommend and use Kitchen Knives again.

Charged for returning product!!

I ordered a wushtoff knife and sharpening stone total cost £112 with free delivery. All arrived in good condition, however was too large for what I wanted. So requested refund. I paid £6 to post it back to them. Obce they had received it, they refunded me £106. No reason for the deduction. I emailed to ask why they deducted £6 from my unopened product, that was sent with free delivery they told me they had to deduct the cost of them sending it to me and it would only be free if I'd have kept it. I have never known this rule on anything I have ever bought online before and would like to make sure others are aware of this before your order something thinking you would be able to send it back without being charged. Absolutely ridiculous! And I was not emailed to say this would happen i I requested refund. So I evening uo paying £12 for Absolutely nothing! Never again will I trust this company! Poor customer service

Bought a Global chopping board and it’s faulty, they have done nothing to replace or arrange a return for refund. Very disappointed with their lack of customer service. Will never purchase from them again.

Fast, Efficient & Reliable

Really great service received from kitchenknives.co.uk! Was a little bit dubious about ordering given some of the reviews, but need not have worried, placed an order for some Global knives and sharpener, was promptly age verified shortly afterwards and received the knives on next day delivery by DPD. Exceptionally quick, efficient and great quality items received. 😊
