Delivery was not was expected!

I wifi start by saying I only gave them 3 stars due to the delivery problem! I bought this as a Christmas gift for close friends! It was supposed to be delivered "before" Christmas and I even received a confirmation email regarding the pre-Christmas delivery! When my friends did not receive it by Christmas I asked to have a manager return my call. Three days later a manager called me back and told me I would have to wait until my friends actually received the package before she would reorder the package (even though it had already been six days and she knew the meat would no longer be good!) she was "not" apologetic, nor helpful! My friends received it days later and the box was hot and stinky and they had to dispose of it. I had to call the company back AGAIN to advise they had received the ruined meat. This manager was more helpful and reordered the package again, but due to the holiday of New Years, I was advised to wait til after New Years to have it shipped out, so there would not be a delivery problem again. Therefore, my friends did not receive their Christmas gift until the second week in January! When I asked the first manager to compensate my friends she blamed it on UPS...but then finally agreed to email them a $50 gift certificate! I will say, my friends did say the meat was very good....however, I would not recommend using them for any kind of holiday gifts!

Amazing!

This is the second year I have used them for Christmas presents, and after a mix-up in shipping, their customer service was amazing and all parties LOVED the steak and lobster!!!

Almost 5 Star

Sent a gift assortment for the first time. It was being sent to St. Petersburg, Florida. Luckily, the recipients were home because when the package arrived, it only had a softball-size ice piece left. There were no warnings given that it could happen so I was surprised. I emailed the company but never heard back.

Beyond Expectation

I ordered a gift pack shortly before Christmas, 2015 to be sent to El Paso TX. I really didn't expect it to arrive until after Christmas. Received confirmation that the order shipped on 12/22 and arrived at their door on Christmas eve! Thank you, Chicago Steaks, for coming to the aid of a procrastinating shopper! They loved the steaks! I will order from you again.
