Poor service overall

I ordered medicine that is the type that needs to be continued non-stop. No skipping a dosage. I ordered on a Tuesday a week before I needed it and chose 2 day expedited mail. I called VetApproved on Thursday to check that my vet had faxed the prescription which they did. Then I called VetApproved to check on it. They said that they had the faxes. However, it did not come by Monday. I called and complained to Sandy who was excellent at trying to help. She told me that the shampoo that was included in my order had held up the shipping. Really? Shampoo vs. necessary meds? And why did not someone contact me to tell me? We expedited the medicine and Sandy told me that the shipping amount would be credited to my account. It has not been and it's been a week. I finally received the meds, but still have not seen the shampoo. I would not order again from VetApproved if I could find another place for my pets' meds since this is the second time they have done this. I thought by calling and checking I would avoid this type of problem. Next time I will order several weeks in advance to guarantee I receive it in time. I would give only one star except for the customer service rep, Sandy did her best to help.
