Boot laces as described dropped a star due to delivery time even though it was second class it took over 5 days to arrive other still recommend

The Company were very helpful and always responded to emails. They kept me informed of progress at all times and the resoled boots ( new mid soles, rand and new vibram sole unit) were returned by the promised date. How the boots will perform has not yet been tested as they are my heavier Autumn/Winter boots. The price of £105 was excellent compared with new boots at £270 !

Very helpful customer service in replacing my faulty Meindl walking boots despite my not being able to supply all the details they required. They bent over backwards to resolve the matter for which I am most grateful.

Firstly, I was able to deal with/talk to, humans. Both Fran and Hilda were patient and kind to an older bloke with minimum IT skills. And the resoling of the boots was perfect.

I always wanted a pair of Meindl Vacuum GTX boots for their quality and fit and finally bought a pair around 2014. They saw sterling service on longer walks and hill climbing, never gave me blisters and stayed dry in the worst of conditions but due the Covid pandemic and restrictions on travel, they sat unused in the wardrobe. Sadly, when I dug them out for a walking festival post pandemic, I was heartbroken to find that the mid sole had dried out and crumbled. Local repairers wouldn't attempt a repair as the boots needed a full rebuild. As a replacement pair were so much more expensive at just under £300, I investigated the option of a Meindl repair back in Germany. So I contacted Bramwell International in Milnthorpe the UK distributor for Meindl and Hilda Mathew and Fran Kendall were so helpful in informing me of the options and costs for the repair. They were also very honest in stating up front that the repair by Meindl in Germany could take 10 to 12 weeks. The boots were posted to Milnthorpe mid March 2023 and I hoped I would get them back mid June 2023. To my delight and surprise, Fran contacted me last week to say the boots were back in no more than 8 weeks and came to £105 for the full repair. Fran quickly despatched them on Friday and they arrived today. I am so chuffed with the quality of the Meindl repair with new insoles and laces and a pot of wax to keep them to the same standard! Can't wait to try them out and, lesson learnt, will not be storing them in the wardrobe again. I am delighted with the overall service and have no hesitation in recommending the Meindl boot repair service managed by Bramwell International Ltd and for the excellent customer services provided by Hilda and Fran. 10 out of 10, for a brilliant service. I am so pleased with the re-soling of my precious Meindl boots. In fact the tread looks better now than when I bought them. They had walked a lot of miles and mountains and I didn't want to part with them as the leather uppers were still in good condition. They look amazing and so pleased that I chose Bramwells. Highly recommended.
