I have placed two separate orders with Fromex, all of which were black and white prints. The first order came out great, as did the second order with the exception of two prints. Both prints came out a little dark or shadowy. I send in my pictures to be printed digitally and when compared to what I see on my monitor and what I received, the pictures were off. I emailed Fromex about the issue and they responded promptly. They suggested calibrating my monitor, which I didn't think off, and offered to reprint the two darker prints. I have been very pleased with the quality and look of the true black and white prints. Fromex is my new go to for all my black and white prints.
