APPAULING CUSTOMER SERVICE I booked the Hilton hotel Union Sq in San Francisco through Elvoline in November 2018 for a five night in July 2019 I had to pay £817 at the time of booking to secure the booking which was a non refundable booking if I decided to cancel This week I had an email from Elvoline telling me the price was obviously a “mistake” and the price was actually £1100 and if I didn’t pay the £283 difference within 5 days my booking would be cancelled Suffice to say I refused to pay extra for a booking which I had paid for and they had confirmed back in November 2018 They cancelled my booking this morning !

Nice small intimate hotel. Downtown. Would have been nice to know that the free airport to hotel shuttle is only available if you book directly with the hotel’s website. But all went smoothly. Drinks in hotel very reasonable. Downtown Cancun is not great so liked the free shuttle to the beach, plus the local taco bar on Avenida Nader (right out of hotel) next to the English school. Staff accommodating if you ask. Ask for a street map and go to Mercado 23 - scruffy but local market with great food and cheap if you are prepared to do like the locals do.

Very easy, very good

Lakeside Resort is a beautifully situated and very well-appointed property and we stayed there for 2 nights recently in a ground floor apartment overlooking the lawns down to Lake Wanaka - all very attractive. Our apartment consisted of a living room with a kitchenette, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom containing both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. In addition, there was a pleasant small patio. The property is a fair way (probably 15 or 20 minutes walk) out of Wanaka town, which made it (for us) the only practical option for dinner. On the first night, we were unable to get the meal of our choice (shoulder of lamb), as they had received major requests for this from a large party earlier in the evening - however, they kindly agreed to put one on the side for us on the following evening. It was thoroughly enjoyable, if somewhat on the expensive side. The only real issue we encountered was that (unlike almost every other accommodation where we stayed and every restaurant where we ate in a New Zealand holiday of over 4 weeks) Lakeside applied a 2.5% charge on credit card payments. This seemed a rather poor piece of marketing, especially given that the prices were quite high already - but at least they warned us when we checked in!

Great stay, very nice hotel, and very helpfull and friendly staff! Our little lady of 5 years old also had a lovely time.... Nice special art room. Tasty breakfast in the morning and a great cocktail at the cosy tarrace from the bar in the evenening. To recommend!!!

Easy to use website. True reviews and no hassle at hotel when checking in or out. No paper work needed just passport. Will be using every year from now on. Thank you!!

Not a big standard room, but it's fine for such price. Nice and comfy bed, but in winter it's a bit stuffy in there. Very good breakfast and perfect location with a view.

Room was clean, towels renewed each day of our stay. Hotel although very busy was quiet. Staff very helpful. Will use it again when revisiting area.
