Mixed feelings
I absolutely love the pieces I have from BLEUSALT upon arrival and after first few times of wearing. However, I’m disappointed with the pilling that starts to occur over time. Pieces I’ve had for 2 years and have worn repeatedly (~20 times) just don’t hold up or get better with age. Fine to wear around the house, but I wouldn’t dress them up to go out like I do w/ newer pieces. I guess I should expect some wear, but for the price I expect better.
Traveler beware
I purchased 6 items to take on an overseas trip. The purchase was made due to reviews and the company statements regarding softness, easy wear and washable. I washed my items per instructions and they were extremely wrinkled. I typically hang dry but knew the garments would need steamed before wearing. This was disappointing as I do not want to carry a travel steamer, so I put the garments in the dryer on an ultra low setting which made the situation worse. I contacted Bleu Salt to see if this was normal and was repeatedly told I should hang dry and they won’t wrinkle. I re-washed and hung dry…and very wrinkled. The customer service rep said she would pass my concerns on and I would receive a call but that never happened. So, if you are looking for comfortable, easy to pack, no iron items this is not the clothing for you. If you are using the items for non travel purposes then know you’ll need to steam. Unfortunately I will not be traveling with my new purchases.
Got my refund
I sent DM to Bleusalt and Lyndie Benson replied and processed my return directly. As I wrote before, I highly recommend you read the refund policy before placing your order and if you have a problem, then contact them via DM. It seems like that is the fastest way to talk with Bleusalt. Overall, I appreciate their support. The reason that I rated four stars here is I am not satisfied with my previous order. I love their design and fit, but the quality wasn't good enough for my standard. I am not going to write the full details here. You can see all the positive reviews for their brand quality, so it is your call!
I ordered an item that does not fit
I ordered an item that does not fit, and cannot return it because it was on sale. To top it off, I reached out within hours after receiving it to ask how to proceed, days ago, and have yet to hear from anyone. So, I am close to 90.00 out and have a swing top I cannot wear. Sadly, I won't order anything else and definately not recommend it even tho the fabric is beyond lovely. Read the return policy people, before you order. Almost everything is "on sale" all the time, and that deems it non-returnable...... very poor business practise Bleusalt........
Bleusalt Llisten To Your Customers
I came here to check reviews before purchase. I was seeking out a travel scarf and Bleusalt came up in my feed. I do plan to make a purchase, however, I am taking into account all of the reviews here that are disappointed with Bleusalt’s return policy. I live in Southern California, but confirmed that there is only one brick and mortar Bleusalt store in Malibu. Malibu is about an hours drive north of me, so it’s not convenient for me to pop into the store to try things on in person, leaving online shopping as my only option. To not offer flexible return options for people buying online appears to lack concern for customer service. It is a factor for me not wanting to purchase more online for fear I may be get “stuck“ with something. Also, reading the reviews, only the positive reviews are getting a response from the company, that is concerning and telling regarding customer service. The positive reviews speak highly of the materials and styles of this company, please heed the comments of your customers about return policy. I think it can only benefit Bleusalt!
I was looking for a navy blue wrap
I was looking for a navy blue wrap, and Bluesalt popped up with a lovely poncho. I researched their business, and looked at their return policy. I was going to buy the poncho, knowing that it was final sale. But, the $15 shipping seems outrageous. I am 50 miles south of Malibu, and the weight of the poncho would most likely ship for $6.95. I went back to look at their items, thinking I would like to buy something full price to see the product and sizing, knowing I could return it if it didn’t fit. Well, everything on their site is “on sale”, therefore, final sale. Sorry, will keep looking for a navy blue wrap.
Wonderful product, not so wonderful return policy
I love, love the fabric, the style, and the fit. I got my first piece a few weeks ago and immediately ordered another one. However, your return policy for reduced items does keep me from purchasing more - I think you should make it easier to exchange pieces, especially if it is just a sizing or color issue and not a refund.
Scarf Review on Website
I posted a review on your website regarding the scarf. I gave it 2 stars and explained that the scarf may be soft, but it leaves lint on your clothes. The machine stitch is sloppy in the corners. You can buy better made scarves for the price you are charging. I noticed my review is not shown.
No complaints about the products
No complaints about the products. Started with the fabulous wraps but recently decided to try the clothes. My issue is with the refund policy. You do not refund items bought on sale and that is your right. I do wish that info was more prominently displayed in the app. It is clearly noted under the price that some sale items are final sale but actually all sales items are final sale. You have to read the refund policy to discover that tidbit. I typically do look that up when I buy online especially when I'm not sure of my size. I admit that I did not do that in this case. Shopping thru the app is so streamlined and easy, shame on me for not taking that extra step and assuming that because final sale was clearly noted on some sale items but not on others that I would be able to make a return if necessary. However, I do feel a little misled. I'm still a fan and have no issue with buying at full pop. But I do love a sale!
The woman who owns this company is a…
The woman who owns this company is a leech and used her ex husband's money to amass her own fortune while still taking his money monthly. The money she has made from this should exclude her from any more financial payments from her ex husband and she should become a grown a** woman and make her own money and stop living off of his . They have been divorced for almost a decade. She is the epitome of Y men do not want to get married. Taking $40000 from a man for 10 years every month is aggregious
