Brilliant Service
This is the second time we have used Bespoke Law Services for conveyancing and both times the experience was very good. They are extremely thorough, good at replying quickly and answered all my questions as best they could. Seemed to be much much better than other parties solicitors involved in the chain. Would highly recommend.
Shouldn’t even give one star
Shouldn’t even give one star. My friend has been through a horrendous divorce and needed to sell her house as a result. She found her dream property to move to but her buyers have used this dogs body of a ‘solicitors’ I don’t even know if they are qualified. They started the process back in March and have been lied to over and over and over again or just purely ignored. My friend has children at School who are so unsettled with their parents splitting up they wanted to be moved in over the summer to settle before school started again. Looking like no chance of that. The upward chain are a retired couple who are now sleeping on a mattress on the floor because it’s taken so long and now they are being ignored again no answering phone calls or emails, passed to different people to take on different files. My friend is having no choice but to potentially pull out and start all over again finding different buyers. Such a stressful situation anyway compounded by pure incompetency by this company. I don’t even know what they get out of behaving like this but losing a sale definitely if not exchanged by tomorrow and throwing at least 4 Families in the chain into Stress again. AVOID. Other reviews with good are definitely made up.
I am very disappointed with the service…
I am very disappointed with the service we have received so far from bespoke, especially as we chose them based on reviews from this site. We are cash buyers buying a vacant house - it's been 3 months and we have not exchanged contracts - no communication from them - very disappointing.
Good value-for-money conveyancers
Good value-for-money conveyancers. Fast email responses. The odd detail overlooked whilst processing paperwork/billing, but was quickly put right upon my asking. They have a useful £45+VAT legal fees insurance option per each conveyancing, which I recommend if there is a chance the other party could pull out. A word of advice (that should be as standard from estate agents and even solicitors): as a seller, don't start your chargeable conveyancing process until the buyer has sent a surveyor around ie shown proper commitment. Also, if your buyer offers to exchange and complete on same day, be aware that option will also be chargeable at the seller's end too (Bespoke £225+VAT), but may well be worth the money to speed up the transaction by a week or two.
Excellent first point of contact...
We had an online quote which was competitive, following a telephone call with Kai, who talked through all the details he confirmed the exact price for the work we needed. I called back the next day after reading some of the bad reviews, he again completely put my mind at rest that they would give a good service and the price quoted would be the final amount we will pay. Kai was very helpful and polite, we are happy that we have chosen this company. I will update once the process has been completed.
Great service delivered by Joe Hadden…
Great service delivered by Joe Hadden and team during my flat sale. Some last minute failed sales but finally able to get completed with complex issues a rising with absent freeholder. Highly recommend and will use again in the future. Thanks Paul
Competent and professional
A relatively simple conveyancing, from our point of view, turned into a more lengthy and complicated affair involving leases, etc. Joe Hadden handled the process in a very competent and professional manner. We were kept informed of the progress and were also advised on when we could be proactive in 'chasing up' matters, which certainly saved time and money. Some 'hidden' charges on the final bill, but apparently not unusual with conveyancing quotations. Very happy with the service and would certainly use Bespoke again.
Highly recommend (first-time buyers)
As first-time buyers we recently had Chloe MacFarlane as our conveyancor, and couldn't be happier with the experience. Chloe was incredibly patient with all our questions and reassured us every step of the way. She responded to emails faster than I've ever seen and was always happy to help. Perhaps most importantly, there were no hidden costs or surprises at the end, and any fee we were unsure of at the beginning was promptly clarified. I highly recommend Chloe for her professionalism and outstanding service. We have already recommended her to 3 of our friends. We will be back in touch next time we move! Thanks
Joe Hadden is a top coveyancer
Joe Hadden was great. Very responsive to emails and was great during a tricky time where the seller was threatening to pull out. The additions do add up so my completion cost was over double my original quote, but this is all made clear to you before signing up, so can't really complain there.
Request to switch conveyancer if you are not happy
Make sure you pick the right conveyancer. I was a first time home buyer. I started with Claire, who made the process very stressful. Emails were missed, correspondence wasn't forwarded, and documents weren't checked. It was very hard to get through to her on the phone, the sellers were complaining the process was taking too long, and I ended up having to double check every response to the enquiries. Only when I complained and switched conveyancer after two and a half months I found out that many of the documents I had sent hadn't been checked and several of them needed changing. My new conveyancer, Joe, was a delight. Speedy responses, clear communication, and attention to detail - what everyone should expect from a conveyancer. I cannot say this enough - ask to switch if you are not happy.
