Good and comfortable
The bed and mattress is good and comfortable. It also looks smart. However, website needs to be clearer about whether or not you want a headboard. Also I thought assembly was included by the guys who delivered but apparently not. This again needs to be clearer on the order form and if there is a charge what it is.

Although a wee bit longer to arrive than the website indicated, I always spoke with courteous customer service who happily volunteered a trip to the shop floor to check on progress for me. The delivery people were superb, polite, courteous and willing, a real treat!
Complete lack of communication!
Took a long time to find a bed, looked any many companies and whittled it down from 5/6 beds. Choosing one from British Beds Direct.The jones ottoman. One of the more expensive options. I ordered the swatches, none of which were quite the right shade so ordered a few more. (The colours look very different online) These didn’t arrive so I chased up 4 days later to be told I could only order 5 or something. Confused as to wonder why, as making an expensive purchase I was wanting to make sure I had made the absolute right decision. Anyway, these were ordered. Thankfully. Arrived - and I ordered the bed. Delivery on my confirmation email stated within 10 working days. No contact from any point on after this email. The only contact I had is from when I have called them to chase up where my order is. On the call, I was told my order should be with me by the end of the week as that’s when the delivery truck was next in my area, so I took the Friday 6th off work to await delivery. Not arriving. Told on that call that day the trucks don’t always come to every area, told “like Scotland we don’t visit these areas all the time” Fair enough, I’m 40 mins away from London but ok. Anyway, told to await the text message of delivery - will arrive 2 days before. 3pm Wednesday afternoon, no text, so I call chasing this up again, to be told, Friday 13/10. I received a text that same night 5.45pm - bed arriving tomorrow. Take the day off to be waiting in and apparently the lorry has broken down with my bed on it and it will now be arriving tomorrow! Friday 13/10 - (the original delivery day stated on the phone!) Get a text message to call about delivery - call the office and no one available to speak to me!! 3 days I’ve now had to take off work because a company has a complete lack of communication skills. Absolutely shocking experience. Refunds are also apparently subject to a 50% restocking fee as stated on their website so at this moment in time, I’m stuck waiting for a bed to arrive and over £250 down in pay from work!!! Honesty is normally the best policy, and if I had been told honestly, I wouldn’t have had so much time WASTED waiting for this bed to arrive! Can’t comment on bed at the moment as not arrived but will update when it does. Bed arrived, 6.35am. Absolutely dripping wet (it was raining) but this must have been out for a long time. The bed then subsequently had water staining down all the fabric. I went to put the headboard together. Of which I purchased myself. Bed had been sent with a king size base board instead of a double. Had no fittings to allow me to put the ottoman section together, the whole metal fitting. Screws missing, tools missing. Those have now been rectified about being sent the extra parts. Repair man was sent to fix the supports being too low at the bottom and side of bed but couldn’t be done so now awaiting new side bed boards - resolution date unknown as fabric is “out of stock”.

Yes you tried to reach me after upon our rigorous search on all our possible tries in various platforms (emails, phone numbers available in website and correspondence) even the phone number were reaching to some transporter after somany days and communicated to inform yourself to give a call back. My order date was 19th, since committed in website the delivery shall be on 28th max where as iam trying to reach out from 27 to fix my slot and no response. During from the initially correspondence the delivery slot was not allocated saying everything depends on warehouse programme. Delivery shall be on mutual agreement as this is not a small parcel and can't leave at the door. Paying all my payments which is my hard earned money without knowing when delivery will happen and mean time the company went underground made panicking. Again after I get hold of your contact back on 4th, you said there was issues with your internet and phone, and the too I wasn't confirmed with delivery date, and said will come to know this week, meanwhile i get request for review only. Without supplying existing customers iam unaware why are u sending request for review. Still Iam worried how the product would be when the managing and service is so weak. I've gone through many online window, when I book before the payment it will ask to select for delivery slot. Iam here on my 18th day still unaware of the product delivery. If you are unable to supply pls let me know, will order in any other source as we are in need of stuffs immediate. Which ever issues addressed like the10% discount mentioned in website dint go through said website glitch, can't able to contact, then you said internet issue, phone issue. Please be genuine to customers who come to you.

Helpful staff, great quality product only reason not 5 stars is due to bolts missing. Once contacted the company sent them through within 2 days so resolved.
