A good process
Our situation was straightforward and we found this a relatively easy process, including using the online template and its associated guidance. Reassuring to know that the structure of the wills and the legal formulations used are up to date and consistent with current UK law. The review process was quick (under 10 days).
I regret using this service
I regret using this service to be honest, having finally got round to writing a will I wish I had gone to a solicitor. Something as important as this is better I think done face to face and not remotely. It seemed like an easy way of going about it, but I don’t think so now.
My experience was a disaster
My experience was a disaster. As I tried to fill in the online form I realised that addresses were garbled and numbers hopelessly confused. Eventually I had to give up. I did ask for help and had the disagreeable experience of being told that it was probably my fault for not keeping up with updates. This was not the case. I asked someone on another number and was told that there was a glitch in the program, that this problem was not experienced universally. It is difficult to understand why the glitch applied erratically but I was told that that was the source of the problem. My only positive experience in this fiasco was being given a refund very promptly. I am left wondering why an organisation such as Which offers a service it can't deliver on.
Easy Process
The process is clearly explained and easy to follow.
couldn’t be any easier
Very easy to get done all the information is helpful.no fuss you take your time would highly recommend this product not just the cost but the service.thankyou mr Brian McKenzie
All very straightforward and easy to do.
Took a couple of hours to look through the details of wills in general and then to enter my requirements. I found the explanatory notes useful and essential although did have to look up a couple of terms for my own reassurance. Submitted the wills for legal scrutiny and received a reply within about six working days which I thought was very good. Printed out the resulting documents and had them signed and witnessed and now feel content that things are in order when the worst comes to the worst. I have sent digital copis to my beneficiaries and tyold them where the original documents are stored.
Made a molehill out of what seemed like a mountain.
It is a rapid process to reach the draft version, provided you already have clear in your mind who will be your Executors and their current addresses, ditto who your beneficiaries are and any extra bequests. You then fill in an on-line questionnaire, with frequent Help buttons if needed. Then from completed questionnaire to draft Will in a split second. During the CV-19 pandemic, Which's checking of the draft was taking 10 to 14 days, which is still pretty good. The Which Wills team were very helpful when I explained that I wanted to use the provisional draft version as my Will for these 10 - 14 days because I feared CV might do for me in that time and I did not want my 2006 Will to stand. Also, in terms of value for money, I consider the service to be excellent, especially when I think back to what I paid a local solicitor back in 2006. At any time you can pick up the phone and speak to the team who are very understanding and sympathetic. My last comment is that because it is so quick & simple, don't procrastinate - do it now. The longest part will be the bit that only you can do i.e. deciding who gets what. Which Wills also offers associated services like helping you create the Letter of Wishes and keeping the Will safely.
I knew in advance what I wanted by way…
I knew in advance what I wanted by way of legacies, exceutors etc. but even so which wills is a very easy way to complete my will. I especially like the expert review - that's so handy and a reminder in case you have forgotten anything. The option to change / refresh stuff is there too. I'm really happy to have drafted my will for signature. The price? Well the cost for everything is brilliant and very reasonable. This brings peace of mind in these most difficult of times. I have emailed others in the family to say how good I found the experience so yes I'd recommend which wills to everyone.
Updated - Shocking Customer Service
Shocking Customer Service I emailed Which for advice regarding the type of Will I had purchased. I got an automatic reply email with my file number saying I receive a response within 48 hours. No one got in touch. After 48 hours I received a request to review the service provided by their Wills expert who they named. He hadn't been in touch with me! I have sent 2 further emails asking for help. These emails were not acknowledged. Still waiting, after 10 days for someone to contact me. Update on review. The expert emailed me after my 3rd email after 7days not 10. Apologies. Stars updated to 4.

The website was a little bit confusing but was OK I missed that I had to submit after completing it. But as far as the product was concerned it made good sense. So overall I am very satisfied.
