I booked a car for 3 days with Kion out of the blue, the company someone else recommended was unavailable. I had no idea what local family businesses acted like in Rhodes, but I was in for a great surprise: they met me at the airport, I had the car in 10 minutes, no hassles, no bureaucracy. Full insurance, no deductible, fair prices, I even got to return it the night before, not to wake up early, and he dropped me near my hotel. It all turned out a lot better than expected, and the car was in good conditions and economical. I would totally do business with them again. Thanks Anastasis for the cordiality.

We were fortunate enough to come across Desert Star Travel Agency. We did a 3 days trip with them. We had the chance to ride camels in Merzouga. We walked around different local Kasbahs and we had a private camp in the desert. We enjoyed the landscapes of Sahara. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We highly recommend this agency.

A single event that occurred in a very remote area w/o guides may dissuade some from visiting Morocco & using wonderful Desert star travel . Having flown right after 911 and found that security hyper-high, it’s likely that right now is an auspicious moment to visit the Atlas Mountains & western Sahara. The country is absolutely wonderful, full of very friendly, constantly-joking folks, magic scenery, and fun, lots of it. Our 4-day trip from Fes to Marrakesh was perfect w/ great accommodations and food, fun and knowledgeable guides, and a slow and safe driver, all of whom went way out of their way to protect my wife, who is suffering cancer. Desert star travel tailored the trip to us (e.g., absolutely no forced shopping, lots of history, stopping whenever I wanted, clean bathrooms, and, for me, spectacular geology). 'You pay for what you get' is certainly true; we observed other tour agencies, and in each instance, Desert star travel was markedly superior (e.g., we got a two person, long, hysterically-funny camel ride w/ a personal guide my wife deemed "smoking hot", whereas other services featured tourists herded along as cattle). I can't recommend Desert star travel highly enough, but if you have to worry about something re: travels, consider commuting in Seattle traffic where one’s life is in the hands of uncaring maniacs. During 16 days in Morocco, we never experienced a single moment of concern with regard to our health or safety…just great times!

Amazing yoga school and retreat center! The land is so peaceful with a serene lake view. The 200 hour YTT was top notch and intense! Hardcore proper traditional training in Astanga and Hatha yoga, with classes in pranayama, meditation and yoga philosophy. Even some Ayurveda! Could’ve used some anatomy classes, other than that, it was a pretty rigorous and good course. You actually learn how to teach a yoga class! The teachers are great, especially Astanga teacher Ashok is just amazing! Very professional. The vegetarian food is quite nourishing, especially the breakfast! All of the staff and the director, Binod jee, are all very accommodating and friendly. There’s a pool on-site and it’s all in all a very relaxing environment to be in. Would highly recommend!

I did the 200h training with Pokhara Yoga School and I am very grateful, the location of the school is perfect, the accommodations are new and comfortable, I felt at home. Amazing experience in Pokhara Yoga Shool for my 300h ttc ! First of all the location : so peaceful and beautiful, made every outdoor moment special. The facilities are of great qualities and very clean (room, swimming pool, shalas...). The teachers were great, very knowledgeable and caring, they made us evolve as students and as teacher greatly ! I loved the fact that we had different teachers because then we could learn from différent personalities, point of views which is not the case in every TTC. They were always there if we had questions. It was overall an intense learning experience because of all the knowledge that was shared but I feel very grateful for that because that's how we can feel ready to teach now and share yoga to our community. You really feel at home when you stay there, part of the family because everyone is so welcoming and generous. Last note : the food (vegetarian) was amazing 😊

My experience at Pokhara Yoga School and Retreat Center surpassed all my expectations! The owner Binod, his wife Mina and all the employees were welcoming and always ready to help us. The complex in clean and welcoming with a view on the lake, a beautiful pool and only a short walk from Pokhara but away and up from the noise and surrounded by nature. The teachers were very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They were rigorous yet friendly and kind. The food was varied and very good. We have had heat pumps, solar panels and insulation in our home – and the house is so cosy and comfortable. Menai Heating have offered a very professional service throughout, from initial contact through to completion. All people involved i.e. surveyors, office staff, installers and customer liaison were professional, friendly, efficient and polite. If an appointment had been arranged, the staff would always phone to inform us when they were planning to arrive. The sub-contractors were excellent – the insulation/plastering team, plumbers, roofers and electricians. Thank you!

The help from Energy Saving Grants was excellent. They clearly explained the process and what we would be eligible for and were available to answer any questions. We were fortunate enough to qualify for the government ECO-4 grant and they arranged for us (via a separate company) to have installed new and high quality air source heat pump, new central heating & hot water system, solar panels, loft insulation and if it was possible, we could have had cavity wall insualtion as well, all for zero cost to us or our landlord. There are a lot of companies out there offering access to ECO-4 funding, but not all of them provide all of the options we made use of, and not all of them are totally funded. We waited approximately 3 weeks from initial enquiry until a surveyor came to our house (with Christmas in beween, so likely 2 weeks in usual conditions) and the work was all completed by the middle of March, so a total of perhaps 5 weeks once we had word that funding had been secured. The company they employed to do the work were proficient, tidy and polite and left our home in a good state (and also much warmer!!!). A lot of people arent aware of the ECO-4 funding, and often believe it to be a scam, but I can safley say that this company and the available grat is indeed genuine, so long as you are eligible. The whole process was totally hands-off for us (other than some basic form filling), so required very little time.

Would like to thank Energy Saving Grants who pointed us in the right direction to have both full heating and interior insulation on our rented property. We had Kerosene for cooking,and coal as our only source of heating. From start to finish our installation team from Summit Energy where fantastic good bunch of guy's who did a professional job. Can’t thank Dave, Matt, and James enough for providing us with central heating. Our application was very easy and worked started within a few weeks

Applied for insulation, cavity wall insulation, solar panels & air source heat pump and cos we live in an area that has no mains gas we were granted these things and we couldn’t be more pleased with the work carried out, what an absolutely fantastic group of workers at the Pennine team so professional throughout, from initial phone consultation right through to when the last member of the team left us when the work was finished, I would recommend this company to anyone, if 10 is the highest to score I would definitely rate them as 11, Thankyou so much to everyone concerned.

All I can say is WOW From my first point of contact to the finally day I can’t not fault this company at all. When reading about what I could possible have fitted within my home I was very sceptical thinking NO WAY, I work as an End of life carer but with low hours I also get topped up with UC so I was thinking maybe I wouldn’t qualify. My home was currently being run on LPG so I was always constantly worrying when it would run out. Once the survey was completed by all I can say was a very knowledgeable gentleman the ball was then rolling, I was kept up to date with every step from who was coming and when to expect them and what would happen, if I need questions answering there was always someone at the end of the phone to answer them. So what did I have fitted you may ask Scaffolding erected Solar panels Air source heat pump, loft and wall cavity insulation Plus all new radiators All the workmen that arrived worked in a professional manner Did I pay for any of this to be fitted NO Please if you are thinking/ looking at getting this work done, give the company a call. At the end of the day who doesn’t love a freebie 😃 and maybe you will also qualify to have all of the above work done within your home Do I get paid for writing this review NO, I have written this as I couldn’t be any more grateful to them all for the work that has been completed

I wrote a one-star review of WalkAroundSicily when our booking for a car made two months in advance was cancelled one week before the due date but have since discovered that the third-party booking site, Jayride, through which the booking with WalkAroundItaly was made has not passed on funds paid for trips with WalkAroundSicily for some time. WAS has told us that they notified Jayride in April this year that they can no longer provide services for which they are not paid, but Jayride only notified us recently of their cancellation. It seems obvious that WAS is not, strictly speaking, responsible for the cancellation of our ride. Please check Jayride reviews before using this booking site as they have not mentioned any return of fees paid; WAS has not received them and neither have we.

If I could rate Walk Around Sicily higher than 5 stars, I would. We were in Catania for an all day cruise stop. Alas, all of the ship's excursions to Taormina allowed for just three hours or less in this most awesome destination. We have been to Taormina many times and anything less than six hours is criminal. Time must be allowed for savoring the wonderful food, the great Etna wines, the sea and volcano views, the lovely architecture, the shopping, the pretty Churches and the historical sites. Taormina is the very definition of “la dolce vita”. Our driver from Catania to Taormina and back to the ship was outstanding. He was a very safe driver, always on time and very pleasant. He shared his phone number with us to call him personally if we had any problems. We shared our van with five other people from our cruise ship so the price was very modest and an especially huge value when compared to ship pricing.

My son joined the GCSE Maths class at Progress Academy about two months ago. His improvement in this short time is evident and very pleasing to see as a parent. He is now confident with a wide range of topics - in at least 30+ GCSE topics, he shows thorough understanding solely thanks to Progress Academy’s teaching. Regular and rigorous topic tests and homework stimulate my son to revise and build a solid understanding in topics that are almost impossible for parents to teach to their children. Scott made a beautiful video of our mum's funeral service which meant that family on the other side of the world could watch later. He was professional, understanding and supportive. Some of the family were worried that cameras would be too prominent in the church but Scott made sure that they were placed discretely and so were hardly noticeable. We're really pleased with the results.

Scott was very professional, accomodating, and offered top rate service. He arrived promptly, had everything setup before the congregation started arriving. The videoing service was so non-intrusive, that you barely noticed the event was being recorded and streamed, so everything was natural. The service lasted much longer than anticipated, but Scott took it in his stride, and did not once show any sign of frustration. I would highly recommend Scott and his company, and will definitely use his services again.
