Carpets by 123 were excellent so no complaints there. But door adjustments by their mates at 456Fix were very poor so avoid them at all costs and arrange it with someone else. Poor finish at bottom of door and an oak veneer door was damaged in the process. The chap couldn't even be bothered to reply to emails so appalling customer service in my view. The best bit is you have to pay up front for the shoddy service too!

Great weekend in Connemara learning Mountain Skills with Kateryn. Kateryn kept teaching very simple and added on layers through the weekend. We learnt by doing which really helps with understanding. Map and compass knowledge is like learning a new language! I got exactly what I had hoped from the course. Thanks Kateryn for a informative and fun weekend, even if the weather was a bit unrealistic for Connemara!

I did a Mountain Skills 1 course with Kathryn in the Dublin Mountains recently and it was fantastic! Kathryn is an engaging and experienced teacher who made the course very practical and easy to follow- even I know how to use a map and compass now which is a miracle! Completed the MS1 2-day course over the weekend with Kathryn in the Dublin Mountains. Really enjoyed the 2 days and came away with so much practical knowledge and experience. Kathryn really knows her stuff and gets the information across in a very engaging, practical and informative way. She was very patient if something wasn’t understood and we had lots of opportunity to put the skills into practice, thereby ensuring that we had a firm grasp of the course. I came away with not just the skills, but the confidence to self-navigate which was my primary goal for doing the course. I am already looking forward to doing MS2 later in the year. I can’t recommend Kathryn and Two Rock highly enough if you are thinking of doing the mountain skills courses.

I really enjoyed the weekly evening classes. Simon was great at explaining how to get started and further develop your Ableton Live skills in a clear, simple and accessible manner and he lends an ear to help out with any questions you might have for your own project. Lessons took place in a relaxed, productive and informal environment, you are given objective pieces of information as well as certain tips and suggestions but are also encouraged to go and develop your own personal way of working with the DAW in your own time through experimentation and trial and error.

It's hard to choose what I enjoyed the most about subSine Academy's Artist course. Apart from improving my production skills, I left feeling so inspired. I've always made music in a somewhat conceptual way, and have in the past felt that these kinds of approaches are not really encouraged in mainstream electronic music, but Simon's Artist course really expanded the boundaries of what I thought was possible in terms of coming up with ideas for tracks. Even though Ableton offers infinite possibilities, I find this can be at times overwhelming, so approaching music in a more conceptual way can provide a great framework to be creative. I would 100% recommend everyone getting into music production to take this course!! There's no better person to learn from than Simon :)
