N.B. December 2024 SCAM! AVOID! SOHO MODELLING PORTFOLIO and ONLINE MODELS. This is my honest feed back for soho fashion studio and online models. Chico one of the first person, who contact. I completely agree with a written feedback of some members about this Scammers companies - soho studio and online models. They are using trustful public, particular ladies in their 50s and 60s. I had experience in September 2023, but contract started in January 2024. I’ve gave to myself some time to write this review . In January 2025 - one year since I became “model”. First Stage: I came to soho fashion studio with a suitcase full of different clothes. Yes, it is attractive for person, who never had any interaction with fashion business before. Loud music, photographer, make up person, dresser… Of course its tempting… All people, who gave them 5star they were amuse by all this circus, like me. Do any of them have a job? There wasn’t any direction from photographer for poses, most of my poses I created myself. For money I paid, should be really professional photographer!? Second Stage: Came back to studio from photoshoot. So, same trick: small room, great music and on the screen of the computer my photoshoot’s edited photographs. Of course, you are already imaging yourself a model or actress… Kane, who interviewed me, insist me to get the modelling package with highest price and gave me lots of promises. He said, I would return the money in a year on account of I have very good potential etc… and I did spend a substantial amount of money. In that moment, I trusted him. - I signed for: High Street Fashion, Commercial Modelling - TV& Film Extra, Catalogue Modelling. Third Stage: He directed me to online models. Fourth Stage: Managers from online models, who were supposed to help me; I had three of them: Gayle, Oliver, Amy. In the beginning, I spoke a few times with, Oliver, who helped me to write introduction and gave me list of agencies, who work with mature models. He wasn’t sure which one suited my age better. I selected 4 agencies myself and I paid money again. That was a surprise because it wasn’t mentioned on the phone or interview. Amy, who I spoke with only once, promised to call me back many times, but never called, stopped answering my emails. Looks like they blocked my email. No respect for Clients. After 6 month I went back to soho studio and ask them a question: Why did I pay such a high price? Of course there wasn’t a clear answer. They said I needed to contact with online models, they are responsible for my modelling career. As usual communication issue… In almost 7 month I had one job with skin company, unfortunately I spend more on travelling. Over 6 month no response from online models.. They lost interest long time ago. Looking for others… January 2025 end of my contract. WHAT NEXT, FOR WHAT I PAID, I would like to ask Kane and company of liars… Of course I am very disappointed, distressed and hurt. “Models” like me, mostly women, paying salary to this kind of scammers… I lost my time and my money… Reader will say: You sign contract.! Yes, I did! But what about humanity, honesty and trust??? They should have compensation or other alternatives for people like me, if they taking money for nothing. I’ll tell you, there are many people in the same situation. I am thinking of taking a legal advice about it… N.B.

I've waited a long time before writing this review because I felt it was fair to give online models a chance to help me in my modelling career. I'm a semi-professional distance swimmer and I think I have quite an athletic body for my age and attended one of their Instagram advert photo shoots that they suggested I came in for. Before the shoot took place I spoke to a modelling lady who said to me that there was an 87% chance of getting me regular modelling work and the aim was to get me three to four modeling assignments a month which paid good money. This pitch clearly got me excited & encouraged into the world of potentially lucrative mature modeling. I attended the photo shoot in soho and after the shoot took place was given feedback and was encouraged strongly to take up their modeling package due to my AI rating being 85% (or something to that effect). They said I had very good potential etc and I did spend a considerable some of money hoping that this would kick-start my career. To date I've now been accepted by all of the agencies they recommended. I'm with now four agencies in London for 3 months (3 recommended by online models) So....3 months into this project and not one single booking from any agency and not a single booking via online models. I've tried to contact them by phone and by email and I get zero response by phone & no one picks up the phone to talk to me. I feel incredibly frustrated, very disappointed and just feel like I've be let down massively and have spent a lot of money on what essentially has been a glorified photo shoot! This is my honest feedback. So I like online models to counter-claim this experience and I'd like them to explain to me why after nearly 3 months I've had zero work and zero proper interaction with my model manager. My understanding was a contractual obligation to have a model manager for 12 months to help me find work which they said they would do. I e had zero interaction with my model manager apart from 1 phone call despite emails and promises of phone calls and no shows. Yes the model manager got me started with these agencies and profile etc but no bookings from her or anything of any merit. Just a lot of expense, a lot of time wasted and a lot of non refundable platform fees and no work to date 😟. I would be wary of this company. I think it's good fun to go for the photo shoot but if you are successful you will be given to opportunity to work with them for a considerable sum of money. I think you need to consider your alternatives there are other companies such as Ugly etc that do this portfolio for a significantly less outlay and would charge significantly less if you're accepted and taken on after a test shoot / interview. I even sent a long email to their CEO and I've sent two emails now to the CEO and I've had zero response back from anyone online models just at least acknowledging the email which I think is highly unprofessional.

I have been buying a lot of downloads from Presto over the last year and more; together with more limited numbers of CDs. There are certain details of how the site works which take a little bit of learning. But my experience has been almost 100% excellent. Where I have encountered glitches I have found Presto’s customer service to be helpful and timely. On one occasion a Hi-Res + download proved to be more than my system could cope with. Presto amended my account to give me access to the simple Hi-Res version. On a more recent occasion I ordered an MP3 by mistake, when I wanted the FLAC version. Presto organised a refund within a few hours. The one thing I used to find annoying was being signed up to newsletters by default. I’m not sure whether I have become cannier at opting out, or whether the default option has now been amended, but the issue certainly no longer troubles me. Long may this service continue.

Feedback neutro perché non mi è piaciuta la gestione ordini. Ho acquistato due vinili, uno in prevendita ed un altro disponibile sul sito, con la consegna di entrambi alla stessa data di uscita di quello in prevendita. Questa scelta ammortizzava il costo di spedizione. Dopo circa un mese dall'acquisto mi è stato comunicato che quello che era disponibile non era più in magazzino quindi annullavano l'ordine e spedivano solo quello acquistato in prevendita offrendo come scuse un buono sconto del 10% utilizzabile al prossimo ordine effettuato. Se il catalogo fosse stato aggiornato avrei acquistato il disco altrove risparmiando sulle spese di spedizione, e al massimo il buono sconto avrebbero potuto applicarlo sull'acquisto effettuato dato che il pagamento per le prevendite andava fatto solo prima della data di spedizione.

Dopo oltre quattro mesi di attesa mi è arrivato il vinile Trilogy di Emerson, Lake & Palmer anche con un considerevole aumento di prezzo rispetto a quello di quando lo avevo ordinato. Il disco è una totale delusione in quanto si sente malissimo, pieno di scrocchiettii e con un fastidiosissimo rumore di sottofondo. Sono pentito del mio acquisto.

En nerds drøm! Utvalget, mengde og variasjonen av produktene dere gjør at Outland er den eneste butikken i Norge som treffer på stort sett alle punktene jeg ønsker meg i en butikk. Vi har akkurat fått Outland til Bodø, og det eneste jeg ønsker meg er et en enda større butikk, kanskje litt mer "fantasi" aktig for å invitere kunder mer inn i butikken. Tenker litt som Outland i Oslo, ikke så langt unna Karl Johan - den inviterer til en magisk opplevelse.

Terrible communication from Gary & Stephanie, who have been rude and condescending to both me, my mother and sister (both of whom have serious health conditions by the way so are susceptible to being taken advantage of in this manner) - would highly recommend going elsewhere based on my experience

My situation was I payed for a new business website, to only get told to go see a solicitor only 2 weeks in. they already had my money and that was the point their attitude changed towards me. There was awkwardness at every point and my website held to ransom until they gave me their idea of a site that would never get a single response. I eventually migrated the site away from them. I had a great experience working with everyone on my website project. I needed a new site to replace my very old website. The new website is so much quicker, which makes me so happy. I know my customers can now use the site on a mobile. I am honestly delighted to find that the speed and load times have significantly improved. The technical improvements to my site have blown my mind to be honest. Bought as a birthday present from my husband. Booked it near to the expiry date with emails back and forth but helpful with the odd phone call too. It would be easier if we could book directly with the studio ourselves. The day itself was ok but the microphone still needed setting up when we arrived and it was freezing (!) which made me a bit tense. Plus the room was large (for a band) so a bit daunting. The engineer was pleasant enough and the result was fine - the recording itself. Just felt like we lost 5-10 minutes at the start with setting up the microphone etc. The computer side of it is amazing - so clever how the different recordings can be pieced together to create the final track. If I did this again, I’d get a slightly longer session so there would be time to warm up the voice and feel a bit more relaxed.

This was bought as a gift for my 8 year old daughter. She was treated like a superstar from start to finish and is delighted with her track. A memory I’m sure she will treasure forever. Before she went to bed she said it was the best day of her life. Jay was amazing and made her feel special and was great all round. Happy daughter happy parents. I got brought a songmaker experience for my 30th birthday present from my parents. On the day me and my friend had an amazing day. All my life I've wanted to go in a recording studio. Andrei was amazing and made me feel very relaxed and my recordings sound amazing. The reason I've put it at average is because booking it was an awful experience. I rang up to book and got hung up on twice. Then I was told when I finally got through that they would need to ring me back to arrange dates. Danny who I spoke to was very rude. After 2 weeks I had no contact so I rang back as was worried it was a scam. I finally managed to book. Luckily I could get in at the Bristol studio. But defiantly wasn't easy process. Over all I now have my recordings and now I have a nice memory. And glad I got the chance to sing the song I wanted to as it has a very sad but special memory to it.

We went to Sutton to record I want you back by the Jackson Five and the whole experience was wonderful. Jay was amazing - expert, encouraging, friendly and putting my daughter at ease immediately. The sound was fantastic. Definitely want to do it again.

Booked an experience for my daughter as birthday gift. She absolutely loved every minute of her experience and had a memorable experience.

We had a Songmaker experience booked for a hen party. I contacted a week before to give our song choice and confirm booking and was asked to email. I did so and after hearing nothing, did so again a few days later. Two days before the Hen Do I contacted the agent we booked through who said they would try to contact Songmaker for us. They did so and were told they just needed to confirm with the studio. The day before the Hen Do I again contacted the agent who said the studio had pulled out and they would try to find a new one. This was less than 24 hours before the event and although a new venue was found eventually, it caused a lot of stress and left me spending the day of my daughters first birthday meal reorganising travel plans and contacting all the party to make sure they could get to the new venue. Whilst I understand issues happen, Songmaker handled the situation appallingly.

Debo reconocer que en principio no quedé muy satisfecho con la experiencia en general, pero en muy poco tiempo he conseguido representante y ese era el fin de todo esto. Así que puedo decir que me ha servido de mucho y que al fin y al cabo de eso se trata, porque el VideoBook en realidad es una herramienta de trabajo y de lo que debo disfrutar es de los éxitos que esta herramienta me permita conseguir. Ha sido un viaje super intenso y a la vez satisfactorio que me lo he tomado como un reto profesional y artístico. Es un inversión que lógicamente te hace estar más tensa de lo habitual, porque te juegas mucho, pero de verdad que ha sido un disfrute enorme. Desde el primer momento noté una atención super personalizada, con el equipo de guión y a medida que iba conociendo a más gente fui conectando con el proceso. El rodaje fue brutal, te sientes como en un rodaje profesional, pero me hubiese gustado que durara un poquito más. Por lo demás, todo genial. Ha sido mejor de lo que me esperaba.

Comencé el proyecto con muchísima ilusión, hice todos mis esfuerzos para poder permitirme económicamente el videobook, y Manuel, el comercial que me atendió fue súper amable conmigo, hasta que cuando llegó mi primera reunión con los guionistas. Las ideas no estaban mal, pero me parecía que podían enriquecerse bastante más las escenas dado el presupuesto con el contábamos. Comenzaron a meterme presión para que enviara mis propuestas y se acabó la amabilidad. Además se equivocaron con las fechas y tenían agendado que grababa en marzo cuando acordé grabar en julio. Cuando escribí a Manuel para decirle que no quería continuar porque las formas no me habían gustado y porque el proyecto ya no me ilusionada, me dijo que no me preocupara y que por supuesto iniciaríamosvla devolución del dinero si yo lo deseaba. Pero tras varios mensajes a contabilidad, la respuesta fue que por el trabajo realizado se me iban a descontar 400 euros por los 30 minutos se videollamada mantenidos con la guionista. Y por supuesto, toda la magia, la disposición y las facilidades se acabaron. Manu lanzó pelotas fuera, y me dijo que ya no era asunto suyo, y contabilidad me dijo que la opinión de Manu no era relevante (cuando fue con él con quien gestioné todo mi proceso y él, lógicamente, estaba de acuerdo con la devolución integra por todo lo ocurrido) y que o perdía ese dinero o hacia el videobook. Así que mi experiencia ha sido una DECEPCIÓN ABSOLUTA. Un abrazo.

Ordered a black stallion fr hoodie. Came fast, new, in carefully wrapped packing. I'm 6'1", 275lb. Ordered a 3x, and it fits perfect. Haven't washed it yet so I say if it shrinks, but if it does, I think it'll still be comfortable.

The ordering process went smoothly. However, I needed to return a faulty item and you cannot get through by calling. The line was always busy. I sent an email and a representative called me to get the issue resolved!

Placed order...got order confirmation then nothing for over a week. Requested an update and was told they didn't even have the item I ordered and they should have it in another week?! So it would have taken over three weeks to receive my order? I ordered regulator set on eBay ..a couple bucks more but 2-3 days shipping like it should be. Upon placing the order with cyberweld it should have stayed "out of stock" Don't waste your time here....there are too many dependable honest suppliers out there

This is a real review. Ordered 4 books Part of a buy3 get one free. Received books and one of the books wasn't the ones I ordered. Which, I am understanding of, mistakes happen. But for several days now, I have not gotten a response back after I've inquired about this matter. No response, nothing. That...is unacceptable.

I accidently purchased the wrong book. I requested it to be cancelled on the same day I placed the order. Actually, within the same hour. I requested on the order page AND sent a separate email to support through the customer portal. The only response I received was the next day and it simply said, "Order has been processed". I immediately replied to that email requesting clarification and if a refund has been processed. I never got a reply back but I did receive a "Customer Satisfaction" email that day as if the ticket had been closed. The following day I replied to the email again requesting confirmation that the order has been cancelled and a refund issued. No reply. A couple days later, I put in another message through the customer portal about this issue. No reply. And then two days after that, I received an email saying the order has been shipped. A couple days after that, I receive another Customer Satisfaction email. And now, days later, here I am with still no reply, no refund, and supposedly a book I don't want on the way :(

I ordered a book through Abesbooks which shipped from SecondSale. The moment I ordered, I noticed I ordered a hardback instead of soft back. I immediately contacted SecondSale to cancel that order and refund the charge. They said they would. Never happened. I contacted them again a couple weeks later and they said they would re-refund the charge. Now, over a month later, nothing. I contacted Abe's and, through their site, again requested a refund. No response at all. So, if you order something and you change your mind, do not expect any refund for you. Therefore, I can say, no customer service. Be sure of your order because there is no chance of a refund, in my experience. Be ware!

This seller constantly lies to the customers. They say that the books they sell are good, but is not true. They sell books that are uselessly.

On October 14, 2024 I contacted SecondSale telling them I had received 2 novels instead of two copies of a particular book I had ordered. I wrote asking how this could be fixed, I wanted the 2 I had ordered and I needed to get the wrong books back to them. On the 15th they emailed saying, "If you would like to keep the item - please reply indicating you would like a 20% credit back to your original form of payment due to not meeting expectations. OR if you would like to return the item, for a full refund, please let us know." I emailed back, "I want a refund so I can buy the 2 books I originally ordered of Carmen Renee Berry’s. I don’t read novels. So, how do I get these 2 books back to you? And, do you not have her Loving Yourself as Your Neighbor?" I emailed again on the 22nd AND the 29th. No response back. So, I'm stuck with books I don't want and have been beat out of the money I paid for books I didn't get. BUYER BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND... SPREAD THE WORD!

Wish I had a more positive review, but in the recent 'buy 3 get one free' sale three of the four books I ordered were out of stock - I received notification several days AFTER I received a shipping notice. Weird timing no doubt due to the holidays.

I placed an order during their buy 3 get 1 free sale. I received 3 of the 4 books. The 3 I received were sent in a timely manner. I emailed 3 different times over a 2 to 3 week period and have yet to receive a response. I would prefer to have the book but would have taken money back but I have neither. I will not be using nor recommending them unfortunately.

Very poor customer service. I messaged three times regarding a missing book that was not included with the three other books I ordered at the same time, no response and out the book and the money. Other orders included books described as very good or good that are not even in acceptable condition. I believe they pull any book off their shelf and not the copy condition that was ordered. I will NEVER purchase another book from this company.

This is the second time I have purchased a book from Second Sale in Montgomery, IL that was not as described. Both times the books were listed as "Very Good" and at best they are "Acceptable". My bad for the second time, but I won't be making the same mistake again.

Received a soft cover book that fell apart from the spine - Handmade Christmas: The Best of Martha Stewart Living - Paperback. And this book was labeled as Very Good. Very misleading and I now have a useless book in 3 sections detached from the spine. Very disappointed and will not be ordering any more books from this place.
