Highly recommend Greener Energy Group. From the point of first contact until completion they have been fantastic. Full breakdown of solar system for best results, assistance with any queries filling out application for funding an assistance and contact throughout. Installation team were outstanding. Arrived early morning, 12 panels, battery and inverter installed in 6 hours. A neighbour had a similar system installed by a different company and it took 2 days. The guys left with no mess left behind them....hoovered the floors too. Absolutely brilliant.

We had our solar panels and battery installed by Greener Energy Group and couldn’t be happier! From the initial meeting to the installation, everything has been brilliant. Very informative and everything was explained and told how it actually is with no nonsense and what to actually expect. With the aid of the app, we can see how much energy we are creating from the solar and what is going back to the GRID, and just waiting on the final documents to come through so we can change our fuel plan.

From the very first contact by a salesperson - Craig - through guidance from Thomas and his team at Head Office and finally the installation - Solar Panels by Sandy and his mate, and the electrical fitting by David and his mate, the experience has been one of confidence and being in safe hands. The original plan from the sales rep was not accurate. The batteries and inverter could not be placed in the loft as promised. The original air sourced heat pump was not compatible with my boiler, however sales rep said it was. The air sourced heat pump was not able to heat water as promised. The pipes from my air sourced heat pump did not go where they were recommended to go in the technical survey. The workers had to work more days than expected. The tidiness and characters of the workers were excellent and so was the contact and communication from the office. I would have liked a better hand over once equipment was installed. The information from the company regarding what had to be sent to home energy scotland was excellent. Not happy that the company expect you to pay the final 40% of invoice before the company give you the post EPC and MSC certificate, which are required to get the final 40% of funding from home energy scotland. No technical survey before paying should be changed in the future. The issue is still ongoing.

I've just had my Air Source Heat Pump, installed by Greener Energy this time last year, serviced for the first time. Martin Lobjoie did an excellent job of servicing the unit and talked me through the process which I really appreciated. He also provided some great advice and answered my questions with ease. I have now completed the first winter with the Hybrid Heat Pump installed and found that it achieved a healthy 2.9 efficiency. From Nov-22 to Feb-23 inclusive, our gas (and carbon) use reduced 60% (just as the unit price tripled) while our electricity use went up by only 20%. This dropped our space heating costs by over two thirds, saving us £350 over those four winter months - and during the peak of the energy crisis. So yes, I'm pretty delighted!

I am very pleased that I chose Greener Energy Group firstly to install PV Solar panels, Battery Storage and EV Charger and secondly to install a hybrid Air Source Heat Pump. I found the services they provided from the initial feasibility survey and advice to the actual installation and commissioning stage to be very professional and expertly delivered. I am also very happy with the services provided by the admin, funding and finance teams. They provided helpful and clear advice. This is the second time I have used Greener Energy Group (the first time was for a heat pump installation) and they did another excellent job, this time installing a solar panel and battery system. Munro, the energy surveyor, did a far more thorough job of appraising what system we required than another company I had a quote from. The system he recommended was far superior (a better placement of panels and a more appropriate battery choice). Communication has always been excellent, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. They do a fantastic job of guiding you through the Home Energy Scotland loan application process. The installation was done in a day and went very smoothly. We had 12 Canadian Solar panels installed and a PureDrive2 5kw battery. The system has been generating a max of 27kw a day, which is far more power than we need! We are very happy with the installation and the whole process and so I would highly recommend the Greener Energy Group.
