They sent the wrong colour radiator

I ordered a standard size column radiator in the standard grey colour. They were incapable of dealing with this and sent a white one instead. I had a plumber booked to install it so I have lost time and money. I'll be getting a refund and going to another company. luckily there are loads of alternative suppliers so I'll use one of them to buy the remaining 8 radiators.

Website doesn't indicate items are out of stock.

Placed an order for 16 radiators (just under £4k) and was called after placing order to confirm delivery would be made this Friday. Contacted the day after to be told it would only be a part delivery and there are delays of up to 8 weeks for some items. I can't understand why payments are being taken for items that are not in stock and there is no clear note on columnrads.co.uk that these items are not available. Requested a refund and will have to purchase from an alternative supplier.

Excellent product and service

From start to finish the process of selecting then buying has been exceptional. The radiators (now installed and working beautifully) are stunning - great for throwing out heat and extremely attractive to look at. The customer service was very good indeed - they went beyond the call of duty when I mistakenly ordered the wrong valves, delivering the correct ones the next day. I am thrilled with my purchase.

Our radiator was swiftly delivered but…

Our radiator was swiftly delivered but unfortunately had been dented. I contacted their customer services where Natalie responded quickly and professionally. the next morning a replacement radiator was delivered. Both delivery drivers were also excellent and very pleasant. A really professional and friendly 5 star service

Best service I’ve ever had from anyone.

I had better service from Column Rads than I’ve ever had from any other company, ever. When we had a small issue with an item each of their staff who we spoke to just would not give up, and each of them went way beyond what was reasonable for a company to do. Even after a month since we dealt with them I’m still stunned at how good they were. It’s a shame we can’t award more than 5 stars. Amazing.

Awful

Awful, awful & awful! Bottom line is Columnrads customer service is..,.wait for it....yes, awful! It had taken over a month (24 working days) for a custom sprayed radiator still not complete and in my house! I was sent 2 emails: one for the order & then another the next day saying it had been sent off to be sprayed. Then NOTHING. I rang two times when a month had gone by and was fobbed off & told that it was “in transit”. I hadn’t received any updates via any of my inbox’s. I then asked to speak to a manager called Tracy who was...well...a delightful woman...NOT. The ‘manager’ was extremely rude & was refusing my refund. On the website it said UP TO 20 working days which by 24 I had given up as nobody actually seem to know where the radiator was. They have now changed there website to 30 days which just says it all. I wouldn’t of minded a longer wait if only I was kept informed and I didn’t have to speak to somebody so rude. I also appreciate that Covid has delayed the country, however both columnrads & the company who spray both continue to work through the pandemic. No doubt they will either a - not reply to this or b - claim otherwise against what I have said. LUCKILY I opened up a case with PayPal and they had all the information and after speaking to both parties, sided with me & sent me a full refund of £177 👍 It says it all! For the customer service alone...DO NOT BUY FROM Columnrads! 😁

Amazingly fast delivery for us

Let down by customer service

We were very happy initially with our 5 new radiators, then after a year our 2 raw metal lacquered rads started to go very rusty. ColumnRads admitted that this had been a manufacturing issue. They replaced the radiators - offered no compensation. I asked if we could at least have the cost of the plumbers invoice reimbursed as a gesture of goodwill (Not asking for much considering we ended up with no heating in the downstairs of our house for 6 weeks in October!) Was told 'yes' the manufacturer would reimburse us. Well 5 months later and no money reimbursed and no-one is now answering any e-mails. You speak to the customer services department and they don't have the authority to do anything!

Were excellent to deal with when radiators leaked

The raw metal radiators looked fabulous - much admired by visitors. But almost exactly 5 yrs in both of them started leaking. I contacted the company and they were absolutely brilliant in terms of a quick and no fuss replacement - delivered promptly by a very helpful delivery guy. Would definitely deal with them again. Would have been 5 stars if the radiators hadn’t leaked which was pretty stressful - but that is more a manufacturing issue than this company. Happy to have same ones again and 🤞

Absolutely LOVE our new radiator

Absolutely LOVE our new raw metal lacquered 3 panel radiator, it looks amazing. We bought the 2000 h x 490 w size and it gives off a great amount of heat along with looking the part. The price was the best on the market too. We upgraded to the fancy valves too, well worth the investment as they really look the part and are superb quality, very heavy. No issues with delivery either. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend.
