Recently bought a duffle coat, which is lovely. Had to return the initial purchase and exchange for another coat, 2 sizes smaller. Checked the size guide first and thought a 40 chest would be ample and give me some room to move. I wasn’t wrong, as it was like a tent. Not sure if the size guide was wrong. My only gripe was that I had to cover the cost of the return, which was over £16, due to the size of the parcel. Would buy again but be wary of sizing.

I bought the classic duffle coat. It was delivered quickly and it is true to size. The garment is excellent, very well made. It is going to be a cosy and warm winter. Highly recommended.

Edit: Sofiane from Montgomery followed up with me regarding this issue and they are looking into it. He was very professional and did his best to make it right and for that I would like to thank him. Original: Tracy, the person in charge of customer service, is rude, unprofessional, dense and talks in a very condescending tone. Is that how the “Original Montgomery” brand wishes to portray itself? I have sent so many email enquiring about my refund taking more than 2 weeks when you stated in a previous email that it will only take 3-5 days. You kept blaming the delay on email problems and line service when in truth you have just forgotten to refund it. Why do I say that? That’s because I received a second refund for a second purchase I made after you said the initial refund has been “processed”. Coming from such a “prestigious” brand, I am appalled by the capability of Tracy. Utter burden who brings down the image of the brand.

Dealing with the company was good and the quality of their product was excellent. However the sizes are all to hell. I ordered xl and it was tight across the shoulders so i sent it back and ordered xxl and it was even tighter. I would not recommend ordering online from them with the sizes the way they are. It is a shame because the coat was lovely.
