I am healthier, have more energy and I have a fantastic dietitian that has advised/guided/supported me through my journey so far. The available resources that are provided have been invaluable in my journey. Any problem or query that I have has been responded to promptly.

Weekly check ins make me feel like I have my own cheerleader 🤗

I’ve tried diets on my own and have never been able to stick it out, signing up for Miyagi has been great as it is the exact amount of support I need. Checking in weekly and talking to a real person each week has helped me learn about food portioning, healthy ideas, and helps me make little goals that have really helped me set up good long term habits.

Well worth it!

The Miyagi programme has been great for me. Having weekly accountable meetings with the dietitian to set my own goals and take control of my own health has been a really worthwhile experience. I have done all the diets and have had varying amounts of successes but being able to totally change my approach and unhealthy midsets around food and nutrition have actually been life changing for me. I think any negative reviews will be about unmet expectations. I think if you wanted a set diet and to be told what to eat and when, then this is not the programme for you. It is expensive, but the dietitian consults are $127 a session, which seems reasonable for 6months, and I have been claiming some of that back on private health. Then add in some admin fees and other suppport and it is not too bad really. The total change to my thinking will be life long and I have been set up for sucess. So always worth it in my book. I have lost cm and kg and whilst it hasnt been as quick as I expected, it's a bit of a learning process and I'm in it for the long haul. I'm so thankful to my wonderful dietitian Megan, she has been so supportive and has been able to challenge my thinking and not make me feel like a failure and help me set goals that are realistic and achievable!

Highly recommend Miyagi

Highly recommend Miyagi. So far this has been amazing, I am losing weight but more importantly I am changing the way I think. Talking to my dietician each week encourages me, teaches me and helps me be accountable for my decisions. I am now doing lots of exercise and enjoying it, I am keeping hydrated and making healthy food options. I am loving this new way of life and I know the small changes I am slowly implementing in my lifestyle are here to stay.

Life changing goals…

I have a great dietitian who supports me and gives me great info on what to do to help me make the life changes required and to stick to them. The app is easy to follow and update, with new modules added regularly.

I am delighted with the program

I am delighted with the program. Weekly calls with my dietician Kate help keep me accountable and great eating tips that are making a huge difference. Ability to take photo and load every meal for food journal as well as recording changes in metrics is very useful. This is a slow burn program for people who want to make sustained change and nothing else works.

Timely help

I am very happy with this program. Though I was a bit slow to understand the concept, I finally figured it out. The results were satisfying and I would recommend this program to my friends in need. Thanks to my advisor Georgea for all her help.

Health and happiness

I'm so happy with my experience so far,learning so much that will help me in the future with my health and well-being. The plan is so well put together, my dietician is so helpful,and our discussions have been very informative and motivating. There is so much information available,guidelines,information sheets, hints and tips, for life moving forward.

My dietician has been very supportive…

My dietician has been very supportive and I know I can contact her between calls if I need something. She has encouraged me even though I have not been able to exercise each week and has given me tips to substitute foods. I understand that to get anything out of my experience I have to put something in myself and make big changes in what I eat and drink to avoid having to take medications in the future and to be healthy for longer.

Time to fix my health

I have tried so many times to get healthy and/or lose weight. I have yoyo-ed for years. I've done diet plans, huge exercise regimes, joined the gym, had hypnosis, starved myself, went on extreme diet plans. I am stubborn and determined but once I reach my goal or if something happens to interfere emotionally before I reach my goal (this is usually the case), I go back to old habits and gain weight again. I had a recent heath scare which also made me come to terms with the fact that the methods I've used before just don't work, because I was back at square one again (again and again, getting more heartbroken each time). It's not a cheap program but my weekly sessions with Kate are brilliant and the cost helps to keep me focused too. Kate understands my needs change as I go through life, through events and emotional things happen. She is supportive and understanding, helps me really truly change my habits and my mindset about nutrition and health. The app is easy to use and navigate. I already knew the technical side of nutrition and none of the factual information is a surprise. I thought I had the right mindset for this before the program started and really used it as a way of keeping myself "honest". But what has been surprising is that my mindset wasn't right at all - my view of food and nutrition and sleep and self care was not right at all. It's been an amazing journey so far and I'm looking forward to carrying it on. I recommend this program to anyone who wants to lose weight or reduce their risk of heart disease or cholesterol etc. It's not aggressive like some other programs and doesn't need a million food ingredients that you don't normally buy. I don't use the food plans but they're an option if you plans. It is a 6-12 month commitment, but this is my life and health on the line!
