Review by Debbie Foster Having my weekly call with Katie has been my best experience. I don’t think I’ve lost weight but I’m not concentrating on that as I have in the previous past. I’m developing healthy lifelong habits and mindset. Katie always has some goals for me to work on that benefit me individually. I love the community on Facebook and I am inspired by the posts. i have learnt a lot from the modules that will benefit me now and into the future. The money I paid is an investment for a healthy future for myself and my family are inspired by my healthy changes. Myagi is helping our nation to be healthier.
This best part are coaches.
This best part of this for me was my coach. Thanks Alicia. Being part of community is also a great way to be accountable. The coach and the online community are great support and they help with great ideas.
The idea of this is quite good but...
The idea of this is quite good, but it is a big decision to commit and the hard sell without all of the information, including price, or a chance to discuss it with my partner, just smacked caring only about the dollars. The spin about the waiting list and having another call to go to was also quite clearly untrue when I got the call within 24 hours and the initial call went 15 minutes over. My gut was telling me to avoid. If I do something like this I think I will go to my GP and get a proper referral to a dietician.
Doing something for me
I am so happy with the program. Starting with getting my blood tests to see if there was anything that we should be concentrating on for my health. My dietitian Kate has very very encouraging. New ideas with each catch up is great to keep up my motivation. When I was having trouble with my knees, she found alternative exercises for me to do. Losing 4 kg so far in my journey is awesome. My clothes are fitting so much better. Miyagi is the program I have been looking for.
Key aspects that make a difference to me
I particularly value the one on one time with my coach Vanessa. I feel accountable to our process and love that each week I get to talk to the same person, who knows the journey I've been on. Another top aspect is the photo log of food, no weighing or counting! I don't always get to it, but the process is growing on me, and I'm learning to separate emotions/moods from eating. I'm only 4 weeks in, but I'm still motivated, a great sign for the next few months!

Really pleased with my progress
I’m about half-way through my HeartSmart program and I’m pleased with how I’m doing. I was in a good mindset to start, so I was invested mentally in what I wanted to get out of it. My way of eating has changed, I am developing good habits, and learning helpful information from my Coach, and the Resources provided. I am losing weight too, which is great. And I feel like the program is setting me up for ongoing success into the future. I enjoy the Facebook community too - sharing photos, recipes, and our stories… It helps to know others are in a similar journey.

Having someone to talk to each week is extremely helpful, you can ask questions and they offers a tremendous amount of encouragement

Hi, my name is Lindie and I have been in this program now for approximately 6 weeks. I have lost some weight but more importantly I feel better already. I absolutely love my chats with Kate, she is very kind, understanding and she gives me the tools to change the things that challenge me. I may or may not get to my goal weight but it’s not always about the weight. I’m glad I joined this group and hope for success for anyone who tries it.
Great staff and program
Hi I found the coaching was very helpful. Lyndal was very supportive throughout the journey Although I haven't lost weight as that was not my goal I believe the modules were very helpful in giving constructive information. I have learnt alot about myself, and what I need to do to continue my journey.

The support and advice given by the program was exactly what i have needed to establish good routines, learn better food selection planning and find regular exercise options that fit in with my life style. Elly has been a fantastic support and has gently but firmly helped me to set weekly goals. Overall i feel healthier, fitter slimmer and more flexible and i would consider having the option to continue perhaps fortnightly for a few months if this was available . Thankyou
