FDA Just shut them down pending…

FDA Just shut them down pending Investigation. So glad I did not pay them in full. Now they want me to go, and my own expense and get Dental exam, x-rays, and report back to them, even though I paid them for this same service. Took two months to get the first shipment and there no longer able to ship due to problems and complaints about the product.

The company took our order on 10/18/24…

The company took our order on 10/18/24 and money knowing it was "working with the FDA" on issues with its aligner system and issued a decision on 10/25/24 to stop taking orders or producing its aligner system. We are now out over $3500.

I was charged $14.95 dollars for this scam!

I was charged $14.95 dollars for this impression kit only for Byte to tell me that my insurance won't cover the cost. So I asked for a refund and would like to return the impression kit but Byte is telling me that they cannot do refunds!? Then they send me a link to "refund questions" and it's a broken link! What kind of scam is this!? I want my refund!

Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money. I spent over 2k on this treatment and have 0 satisfaction and I have now received an email basically recalling their product! Good lucky getting in contact with any support and the “advisors” are uneducated and unresponsive.

HORRIBLE

My initial experience with the treatment was positive, but things took a turn after I completed my 7-week program. The promised results didn’t match reality, so I reached out and provided all the requested photos. They assured me new aligners would be sent within a month, but it’s now been over two months without any updates. When I contacted them again today, I learned that they are currently unable to fulfill my order due to some sort of outage, possibly related to legal issues. They’ve refused to send me either the retainers or the new aligners. I’ve been using a set of aligners that are meant for only a week, and they are nearing the end of their usability. I fear that all the progress I’ve made in the past four months will be lost. To make matters worse, they aren’t offering a refund or assistance in obtaining retainers elsewhere. My treatment has come to a halt without any warning, leaving me in a frustrating situation where I risk losing my money, time, and smile. This is incredibly disappointing. I’m considering legal action to resolve this. I strongly advise against pursuing this treatment!

Affordable but at what cost?

I enjoyed the simplicity of the process with Byte, and they were suitable for an economical option. But, like some others, I realized that you want what's best and not necessarily what's cheapest when it comes to your teeth. I've been to the dentist since, and they love my teeth, but they mentioned that the program I was on before (Byte) did a good job but missed some crucial parts of my teeth that I didn't even know about. The thing is, you trust them and their doctors, but they are more focused on mass than quality, and there have been times when they told me I was finished and showed the graphic of my teeth being completely straightened but totally missed my bite, not connecting on the left side of my mouth. Of course, I'm no dentist or orthodontist, so I thought since my teeth were "straighter" and my gaps were a little more closed in, I was done. Once I learned that my bite was not correct, I went to Byte for assistance, and they mentioned that I would have to pay $987 for an intro to the program now. I am not confident with them in general in doing it right this time, so I will use my insurance for a percentage off and just go with a platform that my dentist recommended that has me periodically come in in person and get the right attention that my teeth need.

This company is a scam…

Sent in my impressions and received an email saying they got them, but they never made a plan for me. A few weeks later I got an email saying they made the decision to voluntarily pause shipment and processing of new and recently placed orders for Byte Aligners and Impression Kits while they perform a review of certain regulatory requirements and that I would be refunded for the kit. I have yet to see that credit show on my account. It’s giving scam.

Don’t waste your money

I have ordered replacement aligners on August 26 after mine broke .Today is November 2 and despite numerous emails to customer service I still haven’t received anything.they stopped responding and obviously couldn’t care less my teeth are shifting back. All my efforts to straighten them have gone to waste. I had purchased the most expensive plan to ensure this wouldn’t happen but byte is a scam. Stay away from them. There are better options out there.

They totally screwed me

They totally screwed me. Two days after I sent my kit in they tell me they’re not doing them anymore right now. Which gives me no time to check anywhere else during my benefit open enrollment period.
