I would have appointments that they never showed up to. The person I was working with often used the excuse that their meeting went overtime. They strung me along for months, with no progress. Nothing got done! There were some hints of progress, but nothing ever got sent to the IRS. When I called the IRS they told me they would string me along until they were paid in full. They told me it would take 6-10 months. The IRS completed it in 3-4 weeks. Don't pay them a dime. You can do this yourself. Also they say they stop the IRS collections and never did.

I was listened to and talked to get me to understand the process. This whole process was wearing me out. I am a retired teacher who had to deal with a major IRS problems in 2011. Now it is 2024 and it is as if I haven't done anything except pay and pay IRS.
