Beware of these scammers

Beware of these scammers I went onto their site to purchase two lots of the shampoo ONE TIME ONLY only to receive an email thanking me for my subscription. After checking on their site it appears that when you select one-off purchase only it changes what’s added into your basket to the 8 week subscription option. I have checked multiple times. I figured I could at least cancel online but oh no it looks like they’ve made it super difficult and want you to call them where no doubt they’re going to make me jump through hoops to do so. All deliberate of course. SCAM

2nd time around

I cancelled my subscription a year ago due to change in taste. Three month's ago, I received a call from the customer service team asking if I would like to try it again for three months, as they had changed the taste. I accepted, and after three months, the results have been great. The lemon flavour is still vile, but you get used to it. I feel its gone back to its original taste. Recently, I called to cancel since the special rate had ended, but they offered me the chance to continue at that rate, which I think is worth it. The service and product are excellent, and I have noticed a difference in my skin, nails and hair. The subscription process is very easy, all you need to do is log into your account and skip a month if you don't need it.

Wish I had read these reviews before subscribing. Complete and utter radio silence when trying to cancel. Having to set myself reminders to keep pausing the subscription. As others say, absolutely no reminder that the next shipment is due like every other subscription based companies, of which I am part of many. I am astounded "celebrities" are endorsing a company that fleeces their customers and fraudulently holds on to their money. Shame on you Emma Willis. To top it off it tastes DISGUSTING

THEY GO BACK ON THEIR WORD - DON’T TRUST

I’m in Canada and Absolute Collagen ships to us using Canada Post/Royal Mail. Canada Post is on strike, so I asked them whether then can use a different shipping service. They told me that they can send via FedEx, but I may incur extra duties because of that. I said “yes” to them shipping via FedEx, and they charged me. Then they came back to me the next day and said that they cannot ship via FedEx, and asked me whether I’m okay with Royal Mail or whether I want a refund. I responded to them promptly and said that I do NOT want them to ship by Royal Mail, and want a refund. Then they shipped it by Royal Mail anyways and are not giving me a refund and are blaming the customer instead! Don’t trust this business! They ask whether you consent or not, and take your money, do exactly what you did not consent to, and then refuse to give your money back!

Absolute Collagen, revised review

Had had a poor experience with a refund which has now been resolved by one of the managers who was very honest and took ownership of the error. Deliveries are always on time. Coincidentally have had a haircut this morning and my hairdresser (who has been cutting my hair for 5 years) commented on how good the condition of my hair is. So….I feel I should revise my previous review. I am 60 and AC is part of my overall wellness regime and has worked for my hair. (Sometimes it’s hard to know yourself so it’s great when a professional tells you to stop taking excellent condition for granted 😊)

Listened to and positive solutions

After a call from Nikki Talbot (customer service manager), I have amended my review...the taste is still not to my liking hence 4 stars (although I have not tried different flavours as yet, so watch this space). Nikki was very fair; I was listened to and solutions are being worked on for reminders and an online cancellation system...the reponse and customer service could not have been any better.

Absolutely Horrific

Lemon flavour? Don’t make me laugh! This is so horrific It makes you gag. I’ve tried it with a mouthful of yougurt, but the slimy texture and the overpowering rotting fish flavour is beyond the wildest of nightmares! Save yourself the money and buy some collagen tablets.
