I purchased a steam deck through the app and it stated that it was 512gb. When it arrived I verified that it was 64gb. Not only was it clearly visible on the packaging but also the hardware confirmed this. I contacted customer service and stated the fact as well as gave them proof from the packaging and hardware page on the steam deck itself. I told them that I was willing to accept a partial refund and keep the product as the description did not fit the product. They stated that it needed to be returned for their “experts” to verify. Now I did not accept this proposition as the “experts” missed something that was clear for me as non expert to see and I have a busy schedule and can’t wait around for someone to appear in the next 3-5 days at any random time. To summarise I purchased a product under false pretences offered a valid solution to fix the problem that they created by their shear negligence and we have not arrived at solution and probably won’t as their customer service has no clue of what they’re doing much like their “experts”.
