Jonathan helped with the purchase of a new build flat as a first time buyer, from exchange to completion 8 months later when the build was finished. He was very professional throughout and guided me through the process. I had many questions but they were always answered promptly. Avoid at all costs!
I instructed Cavendish for a shared ownership property purchase. They sadly turned out to be a faceless online conveyancing sweatshop, with an awful mobile app with very poor data protection assurances. I was assigned a "case manager" with no indication if this person was actually a qualified solicitor, every single time I tried to call them to discuss my purchase they would never answer the phone, you will likely get redirected to a call centre drone who knows absolutely nothing about your purchase. As well as being terribly slow to respond to email, failing to answer basic questions and never picking up the phone Cavendish will bagder you for all sorts of arbitrary information with no justification as to why it is required, in my case they were asking for additional unnecessary documentation for "anti-money laundering compliance", despite it being unnecessary I provided this information anyway on goodwill basis, only to be told that it still wasn't enough information and that they would be closing my case. This was one month ago, since then I am still yet to receive confirmation of my refund.
