Huge choice and great advice on mobility aids

My physiotherapist suggested I buy a loo seat booster prior to my hip replacement surgery. Phil Bartlett (company director of the Weymouth branch) and his wife were extremely helpful, but when I got home I calculated that an adjustable loo seat frame might be more suitable. I returned to the branch and Mrs Bartlett helped me decide which frame would be best for my needs. Total success. Gold stars to Mr and Mrs!!!!

Poor service …

I ordered a cushion months later nothing They did reply but still no cushion so went through PayPal dispute and got my money back

Awful

Bought grab rails, 24hr delivery as advertised . False! Took a week to deliver! Rang them very rude with lies! Next day rang again, got ignored! Awful Ryde service, they only care about your money!

Terrible customer service, avoid.

I've been trying to a get a quote for a wheelchair backrest and some other parts from them since about September 2020, as they are my nearest mobility shop and are one of the few places to actually advertise the parts I need. However I rang up to be told by a very rude person that I should email with the details. But on emailing I never heard any back, so I rang back to be told that the person who dealt with those issues was out of the office (not really an issue with email!) and to call again in a week. When I did this though they requested another email which again they didn't respond to. Appalling customer service, I guess they just don't want any business.

Would never buy from them again. Returned a faulty item, purchase price in excess of £2000. Heard nothing about the refund until I emailed them, reply saying that the refund would be made in the next 2 days. Nothing. I emailed, phoned several times and left messages and still got no response. After 2 weeks I finally spoke to an extremely rude woman who talked over me and put the phone down on me and the refund was eventually made that day. Disgusting customer service.

Abject

Abject. Placed an order that they took my money for, however I received no order acknowledgement. I gave it a few weeks (the order was placed over the xmas period & I know there are delays with COVID) but, still nothing. I then tried to contact them on the phone, over email and live chat but had no response. I then opened up a dispute with my credit card company and, magically, the item then appears a week or so later. Avoid these guys like the plague.

Shocking lack of customer service or…

Shocking lack of customer service or interest in same. Ordered and paid for Invacare shower chair on 3rd September. Phoned next day to find out delivery date(stayed next day dispatch on website) and then learned that item not available until 28th September. Waited until 1 at October when I phoned them again. After a while, I was informed that chair was coming in and may be sent for delivery next day. To my surprise, it was delivered on Tuesday 6th. When assembling, found a nut and 2 washers were missing. Phoned at 4pm to inform of the omission/ loss. Was informed that the relevant department would be informed. Phoned the next day, Wednesday to be informed that they closed Wednesdays. Phoned next day to hear “I’ll chase it up”. Heard nothing more so phoned yet again on Tuesday 13th October to hear that it is “in hand”. Today is 14th and still no parts. Net result is that they have had the payment since September 3rd and I still have no working chair at end of 14th October. If this is service to disabled people, then their disabilities are even more of a handicap when dealing with these clowns. Deal with this outfit at your peril as they don’t seem to care once they have your money. I have had to contact them throughout this sorry saga to find out what’s happening. They haven’t even bothered to keep me informed.

I went in yesterday

I went in yesterday. after ..TGA the people i brought my scooter from , said i should, as they sold them and could help us . my battery had died and needed conformation of the fault .to which they said they would check it !!! but the grumpy older man was not happy about something he was not going to make any money from, and said he might have to charge us for his time ..by his attitude i felt he really was not interested ,unless he was selling you something ... what has happen to day with good will!!. had he had a better attitude i would go back but he has put me off

Great to order online but even better in person, really brill

We were going to order a new Helium wheenchair for my son online but they recommended we made a visit to the shop for a proper fitting. We live a long way away so didn't really want to, but made the special trip and are SO glad that we did. We would never have got it so perfect if we did it online and it was really worth the visit. My son loves his chair and now wants to upgrade it with some electric wheels that he saw in the same shop
