I ordered a business phone system from Halo and had a brand new working phone system in less than 2 days. The engineers were kind and helpful and made sure that I was looked after every step of the way. I'd recommend these guys to anyone looking for a high quality phone systems

From the go ahead halo have assisted me with my needs. When I first moved over I was worried about not being able to keep my old number but the sales team assured me this would not be the case. I was guided through the steps needs to do this by the engineer and this made the transition of moving over broadbands smooth. Helpful and friendly staff from start to finish!

Swift install and great support

Like most people I've changed my broadband and phone provider many times over the years and I'm not gonna lie something always goes wrong. But my experience with Halo has been a refreshing change. The move from my old provider was explained to me step by step, there was nothing but open communication about the process so I wasn't left in the dark. And the aftercare support has been brilliant.

Disappointing service and unreliable

Contacted us back in April and offered us 4 new phones at a decent price so signed up. Phones arrived dirty and turned out that were ex display. The sales agent 'forgot' to mention they were ex demo phones. A £25 arrangement fee also appeared on the finance document. Agent said this would be covered by Halo and requested an invoice. Invoice sent on the 22 April. Chased up a few weeks later and was told it would take 30 days. Today is the 12 July and still no sign of payment. Emailed and called numerous times. Was told payment would be made on the 8th July but it didn't happen. After the very friendly sales call that promised everything nobody has contacted to see how we are getting on. Zero after sales contact and constantly chasing them. 5 year contract signed and counting down the days until we can leave.

Just spoke to Halo connect and I just wanted to flag that they told me they have no cancellation period. Which is a concern so just wanted to flag that here. Also no way to cancel the contract if it doesnt work as promised as you have to take it to the regulator which sounds like a nightmare, Saying that I haven't tried it so it might be fine but just wanted to share that this was a red flag for me. All it takes is the normal 14 day cancellation / cooling off period. Surely thats not too much to ask a safe company? As regards the comment below what I actually asked is what is the minimum speeds aren't met and I was still Told there's no way to exit the contract. I have found that xln do guarantee speeds and you can leave penalty free is the guaranteed speed is not met- this is what I would expect but is Not provided which means there's a massive risk for the customer.

Avoid at all costs

I would advise any business owner to avoid this company at all costs. I have had businesses for the last 30 years and this is the worst supplier I have ever come across. They threaten legal action on every email if you try to change anything, and actually issued a CCJ against me even though they had failed to install the equipment. The first thing they do is try to get you to sign a lease contract with a bank for a ridiculous amount, £36 per month for 4 years for an £80 handset, so they can get half the value of the contract up front, and you are tied into a long contract paying way over for cheap bit of kit. They then have no incentive to give you a decent service as they have already cashed out. Make sure you check this, because as soon as you sign the contract you are in trouble. VOIP installation has been slow and painful and involves a 5 minute conversation so the consultant can tick off it has been done. Was not given any log in details at the time so have had to chase them for it. I have not had my broadband installed yet, but they have already invoiced me for 4 months up front. No doubt they will leave a response to this, but it has been like dealing with clampers who have gone into telecoms.

Fantastic service

Been with Halo connect for about 4 months now and so happy with the service. After a negative experience with my previous supplier I was reluctant to change but have been pleasantly surprised and supported massively by Halo along the way. Very glad I chose to change to Halo.
